Back in 2008, I photographed the Wyoming Spirit Squad for the first time. It lead to being their photographer for a few years and attending all the football and basketball games to photograph their cheerleaders and dancers. Fast forward to the year 2021 and now I am a senior at Grand Canyon University and living in the Phoenix area. My wife and I have been season ticket holders for a couple of years now to the GCU Men's Basketball. Last night was so much fun as Wyoming played GCU in Phoenix. The Mrs. and I turned it into a date night. The game was everything a fan could hope for in college basketball! Of course the Grand Canyon University Cheerleaders & Grand Canyon University Dance Team both looked amazing too! The GCU Cheerleaders and Dancers are some of the best we have ever seen. You can tell the hard work they put in. It shows at every game!

February is CHD Awareness Month which holds a special place in my wife and I's hearts. Our son, John Robert was born with a Congential Heart Defect called Tetrology of Fallot (ToF). This heart condition required him to have open heart surgery at 4 months and will most likely cause him to have at least one more open heart surgery when he gets older. However thanks to the wonderful team of doctors at PCH, he is now thriving.

My wife is wanting to give back to others in the CHD community. She is doing special mini sessions celebrating Heart Warriors & their families at her downtown Glendale photography studio. These sessions will be 15 minutes & include 3 images and will be FREE. All the details are on her page

Cheerleaders/Dancers in the Phoenix Area: We are looking for one to maybe two cheerleaders/dancers in helping us and a photography studio in downtown Glendale out. Ericson's Photography has this awesome backdrop with stadium lights. We want to use it and create promotional content for our new website we are building out.

Cost to You: Zero. Since we are wanting to use the photos for promotional use, Ericson's Photography will not charge us or you for the use of their studio.

When: This weekend. January 30 or 31. Between noon and 4pm. We are flexible!

Perks: You will get 3 to 5 fully edited photos that are yours to use how you would like. They will be full resolution images. No longer on a team or have a uniform but still want to help? We have our own line of cheer/dance clothing that you can pick from to wear.

Signing Up: Just send us a message on here. Feel free to include any images you would like or point us to your team's page for more information about you and your team. (If you are under the age of 18, we will need a parent to sign a release form)

Happy New Year from We Cover Cheer & Dance!!! Moving from one hosting to another has proved to be a challenge, however, I think we are all settled now! We have started uploading our photo galleries and creating our pages. We have THOUSANDS of photos to upload. It is going to take us a bit. As we continue updating our website, we will stay in touch. If you are looking at our website and wondering why you only see 2008 events, we are starting from the beginning and working towards current day. We hope to start working on 2009 events later this weekend.

Dear Friends,

We are very excited to announce a comeback! We are going to be re-branded as We Cover Cheer and Dance. As life happens, you have to take it in stride. Our family has been busy which means having to put business on hold while taking care of our family. At four months old, our baby had to have open heart surgery. As you can see by the photos he is doing well! He even got to hang out with some Grand Canyon University Cheerleaders at his first GCU basketball game a couple of weeks back! We are now in the Phoenix area and are ready to get back to work. We are dedicated to covering cheer and dance. We will have exclusive content like never before! 2020 is going to be a big year for us. We hope you will be a part of it. We have been in business over 10 years. While we had to put business on hold for family purposes. We are so excited to come back better than ever. Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone and we look forward to 2020 and beyond.

We wanted to apologize for any confusion yesterday at the cheer and dance competition. We did take video at the event of all the teams, however, we were not streaming it live as announced. What we were posting live was Twitter updates. If you haven't checked out all the tweets we did yesterday, we highly recommend that you do! Use to see them all. We also took a bunch of photos of all the teams. Videos and photos will be posted in the coming days to www.wecovercheer.com. We had a great time yesterday! It was great meeting a lot of the teams and watching everyone perform. Everyone competing did a fantastic job!
