The Bottom: also “true” but because we choose to engage in a tipping society it still makes us jerks to not tip fairly. It’s not fair to say “not on me” when you’re using the services fully aware of the way it works. Not only that, but here’s a hot take: they are also performing a very public /customer service so even if they were paid fairly it would still be nice to show a little appreciation. (Obviously I’d the service is good)

Knowing how waiting works , if you can’t afford the tip, you can’t afford them meal. Simple.
