As I’m trying to think of Disney and not be sad, looking at Emily’s smiling face when we were there over the summer helps. Knowing we had a first time experience together. It was awesome.

This place … Space 220 … was awesome!!! Not only was the food some of the best (if not the best) we had our whole trip (peep my dessert) … but the atmosphere can’t be beat. You literally feel like you’re in space. It’s so cool.

The only downside … the price. It was one of the priciest places we dined at this trip.

But, I would go again. The food and atmosphere totally did it for me.
Check out Space 220 the next time you’re in Epcot.

The Journey of Water is a new favorite of ours in Epcot. It’s so cool to see water in so many different ways and learn different things. And it’s just so fun. Instead of a fast paced ride … it’s something to walk through and take your time and enjoy. I highly recommend everyone checking this out. You can clearly see from the pics that Emily loved it.

Less than one month until we’re back in our home away from home. I can’t wait to be back in Disney. It’s my happy place. I can’t wait to be there with my daughter AND my husband. Emily can’t wait to ride roller coasters with her dad. She’s so excited. And on top of it … we’re going with some of our favorite people. Yay!!! I can’t wait to grab a drink at Nomad with my P. Sawyer! Less than a month and so much to do.

There’s just something about Carousel of Progress that makes me so happy.

Back in June/July it could have been just getting out of the heat for a little bit. Lol.

I love this attraction. It’s a must do for me. What about you?

Oh the memories … after Emily had her big rehearsal, she came back and we got changed and headed for our favorite park, Magic Kingdom. We went on a few rides and then decided it was time to open some … Emily’s favorite. [We make sure to get one of each new one every time we got to Disney]. It was a fun way to pass the time while it rained.

While on our last trip to Disney, I got some alone time to walk around the resort. I’ve always loved Riverside, but it was nice to walk around and take some pictures. It’s so beautiful. And that particular morning it was so peaceful. If you’ve never stayed there, you need to give it a try. Just take a look at some of the sights.

And hey, my smile in the last pic should tell you how much I love it.

We’re into the 130’s!!! A little over 4 months until we’re back in our home away from home. And this time we’ll be with friends … Emily can’t wait to go on rides with one of her best friends. I can’t wait to be back in Disney.

Our home away from home in June/July … Port Orleans Riverside.

Fun fact: Emily and I had stayed there twice before. Both times in a princess room. We loved this resort.

So when I found out we were staying here for our dance trip, I was super happy.

We had a great time here. The food was great. We loved the pools. And everything seemed to be super convenient for us. It was great.

Looking for a moderate resort, definitely check out Port Orleans Riverside.

Emily got her first pair of wings on our flight to Disney in June. She immediately had to put them on. It was so cute. I remember getting wings when I was a kid too. Does anyone else remember getting wings on a flight?

Mandatory on the plane, getting ready to take off, selfie with my girl! Commemorating the start of our Summer 2024 adventure. We were both very excited, and tired too since it was an early morning flight. Our first dance Disney trip. What an experience!

What do you need after every Disney trip to get over the Disney blues??? Another trip booked to look forward to!!

I wish I could get another trip in this fall, but I’ll happily wait for winter.

200 days until our next Disney adventure! And this time it’s all three of us, and some of our favorite people. So we’ll be a party of 7! I can’t wait.

5 days!!!! I can’t believe it. I’m so excited.

Recital is over, now it’s officially time to get ready for Disney (like I hadn’t started already 😁). Time to make sure we have all the clothes and things we need. We’re getting so excited for the trip with some of our family. I’m also excited to see what a Dance The World event has for my little dancer. Disney here we come!!!

30 more days!!!! Less than a month until we’re back in our home away from home.

One month from right now (7:31am) Emily will be off with some her family to her big rehearsal for the show and her parade. I’ll just be hanging out at Riverside until she gets back. Breakfast and pool time? Sounds good to me. 😁

I can’t wait to be back in Disney!!!

Nothing like having fun at the pool while on vacation in February. For my fellow New Englanders, you know how awesome this is. There’s no pool time up here in February. So getting this time on our last trip was so awesome and special. And look at that happy face.
