Making money these days in the music industry is hard. As I learn more I think the average artist isn't even breaking even using streaming. People seem to only be making money by playing events or selling the rights to their songs.

One thing that is clear is that people are wasting time on Spotify. Tidal and Apple are where the revenue is. But it's still such a small amount of money for a large number of streams.
