The best of the best!!!

Today was our onsite review for Matthew’s House ORH certification! We are proud of our work with ORH and the standards we have set for recovery housing in our area. The review went fantastic, and we will have our certification soon. 🙏 As always, thank you to our residents and community.

A special thanks to Jacinda for all of her hard work and dedication to run our housing. We would be lost without her.

I am the daughter of the addicted, and the addicted mother. I have made it through storms most could not weather. I am the hopeless who now gives hope. I am the dope fiend, judged through a scope. I am the misunderstood and the counted out. I am the one who filled you with doubt. I am a fighter, I am strong. I made it my mission to prove the world wrong. It’s easy isn’t it, to look at me now?Now that I’m clean, and I beat it somehow. But you used to turn your head and say it’s not worth it. “You chose this life, and you deserve it.” But the reality is that was never me. My demons were attacking, but you couldn’t see. So for now on when you think it’s a hopeless case... remember me, and remember God’s grace!

Hey so my names Kylie and I'm an addict.. I was struggling as a poly substance user from a very young age.. And InThe past ten years struggled with he**in and crack abuse.. I never thought I'd you h he**in after seeing my dad struggle with he**in addiction his whole life. But the day he passed away is the day I picked up
I've tried all human aid to get me clean jails institutions and was on the verge of death having contracted sepsis in my knees 7 times.. After a failed attempts of getting clean in short detox centers etc I decided I NEEDED to commit and came to rehab for 8montha in Nov 22nd 23.. I did a 9 week detox from 120ml methadone then went on to secondary care however at 41
Days clean I relapsed in crack but this was the turning point in my journey I finally got honest finally became willing and started to fight for recovery

I now have the opportunity to work in the rehab I went through I have a degree in substance misuse and attend meetings six days a week having service at five of those.. Fellowships have saved my life rehab got me clean but the 12steps are keeping me clean keeping me accountable.. I now have my own house my kids are in my life

I don't self my self any more 8 don't want to die any more... Today I live and today I'm happy it's still a battle at times but now I'm fit and healthy and have people around me to keep me strong ###
