The WEBO Morning Show was pleased to welcome Owego Mayor Mike Baratta, Police Chief Joe Kennedy, Pastor Jay from the Owego Church of the Nazarene, Becky Hillman, president of Renewell Ranch, and Nicholas Quinn, a program participant. The Ranch is located at 28 Main St here in Owego, and features programs to help the homeless and those with substance addiction, recover and return to the community. During the interview, we discussed the details of this program, and also some of the controversy of the facility being located in a residential area.

The WEBO Mornng Show was pleased to welcome some of the cast members from the Ti-Ahwaga Community Players and thier production of Ground Hog Day Joining us was Jamie Cornell who plays Ned Ryerson, and Deirdre Nolin who plays deputy Wilma. The Show will be running from Friday January 31st - Sunday Febuary 16th at 730pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2pm on Sundays. Tickets are $33 for adults and $28 for Seniors and Students. the theater is located at 42 Delphine St here in Owego.

Phil Connors, a seasoned big-city weatherman, is frustrated to be to reporting the annual Groundhog Day Ceremony in small town Punxsutawney, PA. His arrogance and cynicism are in direct opposition to the cheery townsfolk, who are ready for their favorite Groundhog to not see his shadow and welcome an early spring. After disdainfully covering the rodent's negative forecast, he awakens the next day only to discover it's February 2 once more. Initially in disbelief, Phil finally accepts he is doomed to repeat the same day over and over again....Will Phil accept that he is doomed to repeat the same day over and over again? Or will he find the courage to change himself and his fate?

The WEBO Morning Show was pleased to welcome coach Chris Evans and Assistant coach Ryan Pryor from the Owego River Hawks Varsity Boys Basketball team. During our interview we talked about Owego's win over Waverly (49-44) and the defense that was key in that game. Up next is tonights game against Susquehanna Valley at OFA, starting at 715 pm. That game will be broadcast Live here on WEBO, Darren Dodge will have the call.

Ron Ford and his promotional team are back in Afton after signing a three (3) year deal with the Afton Fair Board. After a crazy, unplanned season off - Ford brings his 9 years of promotional experience and passion for racing to kick off his 10th season at the Afton Motorsports Park. Back under the American Racer Cup banner for the 2025 season, the Afton Motorsports Park will be hosting weekly Modified shows (classes to be announced in the coming weeks) starting in May and finishing out the 2025 season with the 16th running of the Short Track Super Nationals in conjunction with Brett Deyo. Throughout the season there will be mid week shows mixed in - along with working with our friends over at the Dreamfield Speedway to create a true motorsports park. We are excited to also announce that for the 2025 season, Leon “Round Mound of Racing Sound” Andrus will be back behind the microphone, Todd “Too Tall” Stanton will be back as the General Manger, and Tyler Coughlin back as the Head Scorer. Additionally, The Afton Motorsports Park is actively seeking sponsorship partners, leads to track equipment, and further staffing for the 2025 season. We are excited for this season and cannot wait to be sharing our SATURDAY nights with you at the track!
We cannot thank everyone for the continued support over the last few whirlwind years!
