Met with Alyssa Allgood today and I’m excited! We talked about a visit to our community and the prospect of hosting some intimate concerts and workshops.

She just came back from presenting at the JEN convention, her analysis of Charlie Parker improvisations.

Today, I weighed in on her interview with Grammy winner, Nicole Zuraitis and it was so informative!

A beautiful singer/composer and educator.
Stay tuned!

Strangely, 2025 continues to feed me with hope. Hope, in a world that teeters on the precipice of fear and destruction.

I believe there has to be some good that eludes the fire of hate. Maybe it's all up to us. One person, one conversation at a time.

Quite a few years ago, Tami Wrens (who’s nickname was Meryl), gave me the opportunity to have my own segment on her radio show. The station was 97.7.
I did 111 shows before it ended. It was fun and I enjoyed the work so much. Click on link to hear the artists featured in this segment (Disregard info at end of show…times have changed!)
I featured voice students of mine that I taught at Tritone Jazz Camp.
Rest In Peace, Dear “Meryl”.
