Katrina Belle is a fashion and travel blogger and ballerina from Orlando, Florida. Her creative and engaging posts have led to a global following that has blossomed to over 200,000 in two years. Apart from her own website and social media, she is a member of College Fashionista and has written for the renowned Orlando chef's blog celebritychef4u and The Odyssey Online. She is the founder of #otownbloggersquad, a collaborative community of over one hundred bloggers all based in Orlando, Florida.
As far as her ballet career, Katrina Belle was a student at the Orlando Ballet School for ten years, and danced under scholarship for nine. She was a finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix competition, the largest and most prestigious ballet student competition in the world. She performed solo variations in both classical and contemporary in the final round in New York City, and performed in the group performance at the New York City Center in the years that Orlando Ballet School won “Best School” at the Youth America Grand Prix. She attended summer programs at Milwaukee Ballet School and Alvin Ailey under partial scholarship. At the Milwaukee summer program she received two solo parts in the performance of Coppelia at the end of program showcase, and was the second youngest student to be placed in the highest level of the program. Her most iconic role was playing Esmeralda. She has performed many roles throughout her ballet career, including company roles in Orlando Ballet while still a student such as Fernando Bujones’ Jazz Swing, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Cinderella and many different parts in the annual company Nutcracker including Candy Cane. She performed in Peter Stark’s Cinderella, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Madeline, his revival of Petipa’s Faust, a soloist in Paquita, the Corps in Swan Lake and many other of his works. She was a soloist in August Bournonville's Napoli, staged by Lloyd Riggins of the Royal Danish Ballet, and was known for her variation from the Flower Festival in Genzano by Bournonville.
She started her blog on her own and occasionally enlists the help of her family, boyfriend and professional photographers to help her create photos and videos.
