Announcement this morning, and it’s one I’m really excited about. I am launching a and the first clip is ready for viewing! I sat with .catnip and talked about women in , and her favorite podcast! If you have a YouTube account - and I’m sure you do if you have gmail, would love for you to follow the podcast on YT. The link is in my bio here. Ok, with that out of the way, let me tell you more about my premise in case you needed more convincing! Interviewing is something I enjoy because I have a genuine interest in what makes people tick, why they enjoy doing what they do and their personal journey. “The ‘Everybody Has A Podcast’ Podcast” is a series of interviews that highlight people of all walks of life through a fun and loose conversation. You’ll see in the first clip that I like to keep it light while also addressing serious discussion. Stay tuned to see where this is heading, as I’m building a small team to put some work in. Also, you’ll see today the latest story on .tech.news so that remains a priority as I start to pursue the projects I really believe in. Anyway, hope you join me in both efforts!

I have the benefit of being genuinely curious. That’s why it’s time. It’s true. Introducing “The ‘Everybody Has A Podcast’ Podcast.” I have been planning, delaying, researching, etc., long enough. The truth is that I consider myself one of the best interviewers in Central Florida. I have extensive experience doing so. If you’d like to be on, let me know. There is no real guidelines. Think “Humans of New York.” That was an interview book that had one thread among guests: humans who live in New York. That’s low bar. I’m lowering it lol let me know if you’d our like to chat.

What a great weekend checking out at ! Appreciate for the invite and the friendship. has become as much a part of who I am as my birth region of Northern Illinois and the area. No surprise there as this is now the region in which I’ve lived the second-longest period of my life. Going on 10 years in October. But beyond that, it aligns with my personality so much, frankly. A lot of , some fun vibes in the and an appreciation for inherent in this .

It's been an educational journey to learn about the fascinating students, administration and faculty at Beacon College in Leesburg, Florida. Here is a story about new services offered for students with auditory needs.

Beacon's new Sensory and Mindfulness Room, 324-square-foot space, will open at the Counseling and Wellness Center.

As part of my work for The Halldale Group, I attended an open house at a new facility in Lake Nona, as SIMCOM Aviation Training showed off the goods.

As aviation industry visionaries and leaders filed into a conference room, eager to learn more about the 95,000-square-foot facility in Orlando’s Lake Nona region, which will eventually house 12 full flight simulators and six non-motion simulators, Tom Petty’s “Learning to Fly” sounded over ...

Just chilling with the dog, watching. my fantasy football hopes drift away.

It has been an interesting 2023, to say the least.

Living in Orlando and working as a , I have a special opportunity to build dynamic flows and that’s part of my #2024 plan.

Video interviews, long form , and more.

Perhaps one of my strengths, if I had to pinpoint one, has long been identifying interesting content. Now, it’s time to be efficient, make time to make stuff and make the hell out of it.

For now, though, just relaxing with the fam.

This crazy week has been crazy! It started with , continued with and now has me in Lakeland for ! That’s a lot of steps, a lot of , a lot of fun and a lot of and ! The truth is, it’s important to be confident in what you do. This could easily have become an overwhelming week and it almost was because of a leg injury. But now, with some clarity and much-needed r&r, I’m excited to tackle the stories, video and potential follow up meetings one at a time, with the understanding that each one of them is about building a personal infrastructure that will help me in ‘24 and beyond. Not trying to be mysterious. I’m talking about potential client work, where needed. Stories for .tech.news. features that create Orlando’s story with the perspective of nearly a decade on the ground. It’s long form that will remind people that I’ve been a for nearly 20 years. It’s a that will re-establish my ability to the hell out of anyone and make it both provide value to the and entertain. Stay tuned, friends and . You ain’t seen nothing yet. #2024

There is just something about that won’t let go. I arrived here in October of 2014, intent on performing well enough at my new job that they would allow me to transfer within the company to Chicago, which would be near family. But once I got here, I started to realize that really was my vibe. It started, of course, with the and industry as i am a bit of an enthusiast for such things. However, jumping into the scene feet-first, I learned that the specialties in this community aligned perfectly with my and background, as well. Now, I’m rolling with .tech.news and continuing my relationship with and I wouldn’t change a thing. Picture is a gorgeous view from a parking garage in The Creative Village.

I love this shot of leaders working with children at ’s fest last week! For me, it’s imperative that we take what we know and pass it along to the next generation. Clearly, I can do that directly with my nieces and nephew but it’s also why I love traveling to my Alma mater to teach high school and every . I always say that the day we stop learning and accepting knowledge is a sad day. But it’s also an empowering feeling when we teach what we know.

Great night to get out and watch an W with my buddy ! The final month of 2022 is here and it’s been a whirlwind of activity these past few weeks! I’m slowly getting back to covering events for .tech.news. At the same time, I’m preparing to relaunch on in a new way (seriously, I think it’s super- and click through to the IG page then the link for a hint). What I love about how I’m settling in now, is that nothing I’m working on (including client work) feels like . Y’all know I love so next year is going to be a fun ride. I have some new clients, new prospects and some clients who I can’t wait to continue with. Add in an awesome, yet-to-be-announced collaboration that could be pinnacle-level and you get why I’m hyped.

Sometimes you have to just look up. 👀 As I build out my , I cannot overstate the importance of having people in my life that support me and believe in what I’m building. There are times when things don’t exactly go the way I want them to. However, those are the moments when an encouraging word that I heard comes back to me and pushes me forward. Tonight, I’m sitting in , hanging out with some friends, thinking about the work ahead of me. More importantly, though, I’m thinking about how glad I am that I chose Orlando as my place to build.

I feel like October I will look back on as a transformative month. I have a handful of that gained momentum this month. November is when we roll some of them out. Why did I say, “we?” Few build great things by themselves. Yea, I know some do. No “rule” is absolute. But each of my projects/ideas will be more successful because I have some great pseudo-partners. I’ll leave it to them to comment here if they’d like to. But even beyond that, in reconnected me to a I admire and that has me thinking again about my , which returns soon. Hell, I even have a idea I think will do well for . I’m done with “stay tuned. 😀But stay tuned lol

Repping the this afternoon while simultaneously bracing for and clicking away for clients. August and September have been two months during which I have laid some groundwork on , and collaborations that I plan to launch in October. A brief foot injury did a little number on some of the progress here lately but really glad it has responded well to self treatment. It is difficult to put into words how taken over your whole mentality becomes when you deal with injuries like Achilles tendinitis. The loss of mobility is disheartening, especially when you know that sometimes it lasts months. But it’s another obstacle that you just have to push through. As for the projects, I’m not being coy here. I have some in mind, including one I’m already recording with that I’ll have more details on soon. Also working with and .briandrobinson on potential . Not sure on either of those timelines but October is going to be a fun month.
