🦕🎁🎄 First Jollywood in the books!

Highlights included champagne at the Tip Top Club, dancing with Sadness at the Pixar disco, Santa Gertie cookies, hugging Lotso, the Holidays in Hollywood show & spending time with my hubby & besties on a double date.

Things I would skip next time: waiting in line for photos, the NBC sing along, Jingle Bell Jingle Bam, & Glisten.

What I’m looking forward to next time: dinner at the Brown Derby!

Overall I enjoyed this event and am excited to continue to see it improve in the years to come. I wish I had gotten a pin (they were sold out and had been for weeks) and wish they played the music a bit louder around the parks so that the vibes were more festive but I’ll definitely be back for another date night with the hubs.

🥹 I personally adore Chip & Dale dressed as dinosaurs dressed as reindeer. And the way Daisy decorates with pink, purple and Daisy flowers and makes everyone’s costumes for them!

Memory Haul from

Life has been so hectic lately I’ve never even had a chance to finish posting about France or even make more than two YouTubes about our trip 😫

I also keep waiting on to allow me to post 20 photos (I’m able to from literally all of my other accounts) but I guess that’s never happening.

I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with The Lourve the way I did. You could literally get lost for hours and hours in their admiring all the different exhibits. The history of the Lourve itself is fascinating:

Construction began around 1190 as a fortress to protect Paris from the English, built on the banks of the Seine River. The fortress was designed for strength, not beauty. The Louvre became a palace as the monarchy consolidated power in Paris, and was enlarged to accommodate the growing court. In the 14th century, Charles V converted the building into a residence.

After the French Revolution, the Louvre was opened to the people as a museum. In the 1980s, the Louvre added a glass and steel pyramid to modernize the entrance spaces and expand the museum. The building and interiors themselves are exhibits and works of art on their own entirely!

Welp, that’s your little history lesson for the day. If you visit Paris, the Lourve is an absolutely MUST.

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY: All bodies are beautiful!

dropped an inspirational post (as she always does) and it helped me figure out a way to share this post.

👀 As you can see from the pictures, I have a belly and stretch marks now that once weren’t there. My double chin and arms and legs fluctuate more than the seasons and I even hate the bump on my nose and the crookedness of my bottom teeth.

🪞 To quote Paula: “When I look in the mirror those are the first things that I see but I know that these are distorted thoughts and that I am ✨beautifully and wonderfully✨ made, that I am NORMAL.

It may be too late for me (I hope one day I can look past these and it’s some thing I am working on) but I know it’s not too late for my girls! By showing up in normalizing normal bodies, we are setting standards for our children and theirs!”

🙏 Thank you so much for putting my exact feelings into eloquent words. I am posting this for my daughters. To show that it’s NORMAL for weight to fluctuate. It’s normal to be thin. It’s normal to be curvy. You are so much more than a number on a scale or the size of your pants.

🤗I have been ALL shapes and sizes. And even though all I see is flaws, I felt great in my swimsuit this day on the Wish.. and got so many compliments on it. One thing I’m proud of is I feel like I can always dress well for the occasion.

🚢 Anchors Away! ⚓️

🌊 Just got back from our very first cruise as a family - and of course it was a Disney cruise!

📷 I’ve got soooooooo many thoughts, opinions and tips/tricks to share but while I’m gathering all my thoughts I figured I’d start by sharing the 10 photos we bought from the photo pass photographers on board!

✨PRO TIP✨ you cannot buy your photos once you’re off the ship so be sure you purchase a photo package ahead of time or visit “Shutters” which are kiosks located on the ship (Deck 5 on the Wish) to download and buy the photos you want!

📷 We took 43 photos while on board our 3 day cruise d they were all great! A lot of them were individual shots of each of us at dinner and since I take thousands of photos myself I opted to buy my favorite 10 photos of our family and the girls.

📷 The 10 photo digital download package cost $154. You could buy unlimited digital downloads for $230 definitely making it a better deal but like I said, I take a ton of pictures on my own so the 10 photos were all I felt like we needed.

💀Creepin’ it real

🎃We haven’t been to a real authentic pumpkin patch since we moved here two years ago even though we supposedly have one very close to our house!

🎃For now, lil boo’s pumpkin patch at will have to suffice but I think we need to change that and check out asap!

👻 Funny story time:

Meeting Phantom Manor Mickey was easily one of my top 3 if not my number 1 character interaction I’ve ever experienced. But WHY might surprise you….

Phantom Manor Mickey (PMM) takes breaks periodically as all characters do, especially the in thick of the July heat. He took a break right before it was our turn to meet him so we were first in line when he returned. However.. a lady with her small child (probably 1.5 years old) tried to come through the back of the gazebo and cut line right when PMM showed back up.

Listen.. we didn’t have our kids and I get it, you don’t want to wait in a line with your young child… so I wasn’t about to get in a fight over this… HOWEVER. There was a mama right behind us in line with three young kids and when the other woman was trying to cut she gave me the look of “is this woman for real we’ve all just waited our turn!! She can’t cut!”

So, I knew I would have to muster up whatever I could to tell the cast member the woman was cutting. The cast member was pretty oblivious and wasn’t going to prevent it from happening… which was giving me even more anxiety. BUT. You know who made things right?

Mickey Mouse.

Mickey wouldn’t visit with the woman at all and instead kept trying to alert the cast member as to what was happening until she finally figured it out. Phew. Crisis and confrontation averted!!! Like the fact that Mickey Mouse came to my actual rescue makes me chuckle. He’s the best pal!

After the air was cleared I got to meet Mickey in his PERFECTLY spooky Phantom Manor outfit and WOW.. let me know say… I am awkward meeting characters without my kids.. but PMM made me feel so relaxed and communicated so well. He put on an entire fashion show for me and then asked me to do the same!

I wish the cast member had captured it on video instead of photos - regardless, these are memories that I will forever love looking back on!

I absolutely love that Paris has a spooky character out year round - and MICKEY no less!! It’s safe to say Brett and I were both HUGE fans! (Just look at that hug!)
