A special announcement was made as per our friends in Mexico the ASWA world heavyweight champion Kurtis Black will take on Tyrese Murphy for the FTA National Heavyweight championship at Syndicate Lucha Libre. The rematch 5 months in the making.

In what was an highly anticipating match between youth Vs Experience both Tyrese Murphy and Curtis Black came Into All-Star Wrestling Alliance’s affiliate Rockin Wrestling Federation’s Anarchy event and put each other through the grinder move for move. The hell these men put each other through couldn’t keep each other down but, in the end grit, sheer determination, a Gotch-Style Piledriver, a dragon stomp and a modified Anaconda vise later Curtis Black leaves as the NEW ASWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.

Though he won the vacant title it came at a cost as it seems Black was injured in the hard fought contest, ASWA will bring you an update on Mr. Blacks injury. Tyrese was no joke as he matched Curtis’s known aggression and at many times what looked like he had Blacks number on many occasions. One of those times came by way of a superplex from the top rope that saw Black bounce nearly out of the ring quite literally which we here at ASWA believe cause Mr. Blacks injury.

We look forward to see more of Tyrese in the future and can’t wait to see what challengers Mr. Black faces.

We are 7 days, 170 hours away from one of the biggest matches in ASWA. Last week the former ASWA world Champion Akbar Bashar had to vacate the championship and in place the “Street Prince” Tyrese Murphy step up to take his place. However though it didn’t come without controversy as Tyrese will be taking on his very own brother in arms the “ God of War” Curtis Black in what has now become not only personal but, have these two take this match to threatening levels and has left those who know these two gladiators in complete shock for as close as these two are they have become extremely bitter rivals, and with two men and only one championship there can be only one….. who will be that one is another matter entirely?
