Gut Healing Wellness Elixir at home✨ Using this recipe for a pineapple ginger shot that promotes a healthy gut, aids digestion, reduces inflammation, soothes upset stomachs, and enhances your immunity! *Can be made with a juicer OR your blender!* Equipment: • 1 high speed blender I use the @cuisinart Velocity Ultra 1 Hp (SPB-650C). Any high speed blender will work. • OR 1 juicer (use a juicer instead of the blender if you have one). • cheese cloth (if using blender) • strainer (if using blender) Ingredients: • 1 Pineapple🍍(peeled and chopped) • 1 small hand of ginger 🫚 (use desired amount, I like mine spicey! Peel if desired, but not required. Chop) • 1/2 or full Lemon 🍋 (juice desired amount) • 1 orange 🍊(juiced) • 1/4 cup coconut water 🥥 • sprinkle of cayenne pepper • optional: 1 tsp tumeric How to make: • To the blender jar, add the ginger and ground turmeric. • If you are using turmeric root, add that instead of the ground turmeric. • Add the chopped pineapple • Add coconut water, juiced lemon and orange to the blender. • Blend on high speed till the mixture is smooth. • At this stage, if using blender, you can choose to strain the juice using a double strainer and cheese cloth to get the most juice and no foam • Transfer the juice into small containers or glass dispenser bottle • Sprinkle small amount of cayenne pepper on top of your morning shot.
