Family first. Your family first. On Wednesday, a woman hid in a small room in her home while an armed domestic abuser searched for her. He found her and blocked her escape. She was terrified and brave, and managed to break away long enough to call 911. Omaha police officers got her to safety.

After a standoff, we took the suspect into custody.

The Omaha Police Fugitive Unit is actively searching for Veangelo Moore, 22, for the murder of Joshua Perrin. Moore is wanted for first degree murder, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, second degree assault, and two counts of use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Omaha Police Department have announced a third arrest in the murder of Sevyn Bellar-White. 18-year-old Shawn Roland was booked for accessory to a felony and tampering with physical evidence.
