Thanks to everyone who attended our 5th annual Juneteenth Celebration Festival on June 21st at Rebecca Howard Park. The Women of Color in Leadership Movement and Media Island International hosted this celebration of Black culture, heritage, accomplishments, and liberation in partnership with The City of Olympia.
We want to express our gratitude to the speakers, performers, and vendors that were part of the program: DJ Lady Hawk, The Buffalo Soldiers, Zambuko Marimba Ensemble,New Genesis Studios LLCDrumline, Mari G, K_Thepaintlady, The Mustard Seed, and Jerk and Tings.
