Our Story

The staff of MetroFamily Magazine loves hearing our readers' comments, many that sound like this: "Our world of fun would be motionless without you." We love bringing the best in family fun around the OKC/Central Oklahoma area via our extensive in print and online calendars and our Local Family Fun and Exploring Oklahoma with Children columns. We offer an award-winning magazine to over 98,000 Central Oklahoma readers each month as well as a popular website (over 95,000 monthly visitors) that is full of handy resources and informative blogs; e-newsletters about the top things to do with your family (Top Picks on Tuesdays and Weekend Picks on Thursdays); and a vibrant social media following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We also have a live event for families each year, Kids Fest, that connects thousands of local families to the services and businesses they need to know in a dynamic, engaging way. The upcoming Kids Fest event will be held April 6, 2019 at the Cox Convention Center in downtown OKC.
