Congratulations that’s awesome!

Look what Santa dropped off today !!
This has been in the works for over a year. Due to availability of trucks our order got rejected last year. We were lucky and our order was accepted this year. We received a REAP grant thru COEDD last year for the amount of $41k. We used our Emergency Sales Tax (1/4 cent County sales tax) to cover the remaining balance of the truck cost. We also received a 80/20 grant of $20k to purchase a new skid unit.
Thanks to our Rural Fire Coordinators Paul Simpson(ret) and Brandon Morgan for assisting us get these funds. Also to COEDD for help make sure these funds are available for rural fire departments.

If you live in southwest Lawton, you might have seen the latest addition to our fleet! 🤩

We are proud to have this beautiful red engine at Station 8! This is the only red fire truck you’ll see in town. 🚒 It was originally intended to be a demo truck, but we were able to pull it off the line & bring it straight to Lawton so we could provide our citizens with the best service with the latest equipment.

Join us in congratulating two of Oklahoma City Fire Departments newest recruits. Firefighters Karsten Allen and Tyler Painter served just over 2 years on the Bridge Creek FD. Both gentlemen had ambitions of becoming a career firefighter.

Karsten and Tyler did an outstandig job of helping keep Bridge Creek safe. Thank you to gentlemen and their families for the time each contributed to our community.

During our yearly Christmas gathering on Saturday, these two members received service awards. Congratulations to Caleb Stalnaker (right) on being selected as the 2023 Firefighter Of The Year and to Spencer Hughes (left) for responding to the most emergency calls this year.

We appreciate the service and dedication Caleb gives to the Bridge Creek community. He is always willing to go above and beyond without mustering a peep. We also appreciate his family for supporting his time spent at the fire department.

We are also appreciative of Spencer’s commitment to answer our calls for service. Spencer joined our department in February and responded to nearly 250 calls.
