🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 65 (Part 1): “Tenure Denied — A Professor’s Revenge” is out now.
In February 2010, a biology professor at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, Dr. Amy Bishop, shot six colleagues in a conference room, killing three and injuring three others. The distraught Bishop had been denied tenure, so she took revenge into her own hands as she opened fire during a departmental meeting, leaving everyone in utter shock and terror. But that wasn’t the first time Bishop had shot, and killed, an innocent person. Decades prior, she killed her own brother. Listen to Part 1 of this story now.

In the fall of 2012, 18-year-old Alexandra Kogut was brutally beaten to death by her boyfriend of a year and a half, 21-year-old Clayton Whittemore. 🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 63: “Rivalry, Revenge, & Homicide” is out now.

In November 2022, New Mexico State traveled to Albuquerque for a basketball face-off against in-state rival University of New Mexico. After allegedly nursing a grudge against NMSU men’s basketball player Mike Peake, UNM student Brandon Travis hatched a plan to lure Peake onto campus and attack him. The plan, however, went awry, resulting in tragedy – it left one student dead and another severely injured. Listen to this week’s episode to hear the full story.

19-year-old Anthony Nazaire, a determined and driven young man, took himself out of the streets of Brooklyn by earning a full-ride scholarship to Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. While defending his friend in a random melee on the campus of Cornell University, a prestigious Ivy League school also located in Ithaca, Anthony was stabbed and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. 🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 60: “Murdered at Last Call” is out now.
In February 2006, John Jay College grad student Imette St. Guillen went out in New York City with some friends for her early birthday celebration. By the end of the night, Imette found herself alone in a bar, which is where her friend last left her. Her friend was under the impression that Imette was going to call a cab and head home. But 16 and a half hours later, Imette was found deceased. She had been brutally r***d and murdered, and her body had been dumped in Brooklyn. Listen to this week’s episode to hear the full story.

In January 2014, Purdue University student and teaching assistant (TA) Andrew Boldt was brutally murdered by fellow TA Cody Cousins in a classroom full of horrified students. However, there have been several potential sightings of Dane in California. In 2008, University of Wisconsin student Brittany Zimmermann was attacked and brutally murdered in her off-campus apartment by a stranger. After nearly 15 years, her killer was finally locked up for life in January 2023. Listen to this week’s episode to hear the full story.

🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 56: “Miya Marcano-Murdered in My Apartment” is out now.
In September of 2021, Valencia College student Miya Marcano was scheduled to take a flight from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale to meet up with family. They were actually planning to go on to Jamaica for a family vacation. But when she failed to board the plane and missed her flight, Miya’s family became incredibly worried and reported her missing. After EIGHT grueling days, her family received the news they feared the most. Miya had been found, but she was no longer alive. In 2014, University of Oklahoma freshman Alan Hruby murdered his entire immediate family. The reason he gave police at the time was because his parents had cut him off due to his excessive spending habits, and he owed money to a loan shark. If he killed his entire family, he thought, he’d be the sole heir to the family’s wealth. 🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 54: “Janelle Kirby — A Survivor’s Story” is out now.
In the summer of 1974, Texas Christian University student Janelle Kirby was attacked in her own apartment by a man she did not know. He shot her five times, but Janelle lived to tell her story. However, it took 12 years before her attacker was found, and for 12 years, two separate lives were ruined in a way that most of us couldn’t even begin to fathom. You see, there are actually three people involved in this story — Janelle, her actual attacker, and the man who police eventually said was wrongfully accused of her attack. In May of 2006, University of Nebraska student Jessica O’Grady went missing. When police focused on their prime suspect, fellow student Chris Edwards, they quickly realized they were dealing with a homicide. 🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 51: “Who Killed Chandra Levy?” is out now.
In May of 2001, 24-year-old USC grad student Chandra Levy had just finished an internship for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington D.C. when she seemingly vanished without a trace. A year later, her remains were found in a D.C. metro park. Investigators first focused on a California congressman with whom she was allegedly having an affair, but evidence pointed to an illegal immigrant by the name of Ingmar Guandique, who was convicted of Chandra’s murder in 2010. However, 5 years later in 2015, his conviction was overturned and all charges were dropped. Now, over 20 years later, Chandra’s case remains one of D.C.’s most prominent cold cases. On June 5, 2004, University of Missouri college student Jesse Valencia was found murdered in a Columbia neighborhood. His throat had been slashed with a serrated knife. When a dance student from the University of Oklahoma was found brutally r***d and murdered in December of 1996, her killer remained at large until DNA collected at the crime scene was later matched to a man incarcerated for burglary. Now, that man is scheduled to die by lethal injection in September.

In March 2003, community college student Megan McDonald was found severely beaten and murdered. Her killer dumped her body in a remote area in Orange County, New York, but he has evaded an arrest all this time, mostly because he is a textbook narcissist. Now, after 20 years, police believe they are closer than ever to finally bringing her killer to justice.

🚨New Episode Alert!🚨Chronicle 45: “Unexpected Visitor — The Murder
of Andrea DelVesco” is out now. On Sept. 21, 2015, 21-year-old UCLA student Andrea DelVesco was attacked in her sleep, brutally stabbed, and murdered before her killer set her and her room on fire. Alberto Medina, 25, was convicted and sentenced to the heinous crime three years later in 2018, but provided zero answers as to his motive. In 1998, 21-year-old Yale student Suzanne Jovin was stabbed 17 times and left for dead in an upscale neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut. Suzanne was last seen walking about 2 miles away from this neighborhood, near the Yale campus. Over 24 years later, her case remains unsolved. 🚨New Episode Alert!!🚨Chronicle 42: “The Bed Sheet that Broke the Case — The Murder of Tiffany Sabourin” is out now! In 1998, 13-year-old Tiffany Sabourin was brutally assaulted and murdered on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Ultimately, police were led to Tiffany’s killer through the connection of a bed sheet found in the investigation.

In 1993, Sophie Sergie was visiting a friend at the University of Alaska — Fairbanks, when she was brutally r***d and murdered, and then left in the women’s shower room of a dormitory on campus. After 29 years of virtually no suspects, justice has finally prevailed and the man responsible for her death was found guilty in 2022 thanks to advancements in DNA testing. Today, I dropped a Bonus Chronicle to bring y’all the most recent details and facts about the four University of Idaho students who were killed in their off-campus residence. On Nov. 13, around 11:58 a.m., police found the students stabbed to death on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home. Police have yet to publicly identify a suspect(s), and they have not located the murder weapon.
