In February 2010, a biology professor at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, Dr. Amy Bishop, shot six colleagues in a conference room, killing three and injuring three others. The distraught Bishop had been denied tenure, so she took revenge into her own hands as she opened fire during a departmental meeting, leaving everyone in utter shock and terror. But that wasn’t the first time Bishop had shot, and killed, an innocent person. Decades prior, she killed her own brother. Listen to Part 1 of this story now.

In November 2022, New Mexico State traveled to Albuquerque for a basketball face-off against in-state rival University of New Mexico. After allegedly nursing a grudge against NMSU men’s basketball player Mike Peake, UNM student Brandon Travis hatched a plan to lure Peake onto campus and attack him. The plan, however, went awry, resulting in tragedy – it left one student dead and another severely injured. Listen to this week’s episode to hear the full story.

19-year-old Anthony Nazaire, a determined and driven young man, took himself out of the streets of Brooklyn by earning a full-ride scholarship to Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. While defending his friend in a random melee on the campus of Cornell University, a prestigious Ivy League school also located in Ithaca, Anthony was stabbed and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. In February 2006, John Jay College grad student Imette St. Guillen went out in New York City with some friends for her early birthday celebration. By the end of the night, Imette found herself alone in a bar, which is where her friend last left her. Her friend was under the impression that Imette was going to call a cab and head home. But 16 and a half hours later, Imette was found deceased. She had been brutally r***d and murdered, and her body had been dumped in Brooklyn. Listen to this week’s episode to hear the full story.

They were actually planning to go on to Jamaica for a family vacation. But when she failed to board the plane and missed her flight, Miya’s family became incredibly worried and reported her missing. After EIGHT grueling days, her family received the news they feared the most. Miya had been found, but she was no longer alive. In May of 2001, 24-year-old USC grad student Chandra Levy had just finished an internship for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington D.C. when she seemingly vanished without a trace. A year later, her remains were found in a D.C. metro park. Investigators first focused on a California congressman with whom she was allegedly having an affair, but evidence pointed to an illegal immigrant by the name of Ingmar Guandique, who was convicted of Chandra’s murder in 2010. However, 5 years later in 2015, his conviction was overturned and all charges were dropped. Now, over 20 years later, Chandra’s case remains one of D.C.’s most prominent cold cases. Today, I dropped a Bonus Chronicle to bring y’all the most recent details and facts about the four University of Idaho students who were killed in their off-campus residence. On Nov. 13, around 11:58 a.m., police found the students stabbed to death on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home. Police have yet to publicly identify a suspect(s), and they have not located the murder weapon.
