After graduating from the JD equivalent in Spain she got a job as a Foreign Attorney Trainee at a law firm in Detroit, MI. After working that job, she knew she was in the right place. So she decided to get her LLM first at the University of Pennsylvania before she took the full financial plunge into getting her JD. She shares her struggles of not being able to take a year off to study for the LSAT to get into Penn Law’s JD program, and how grades affected her applying to JD programs from LLM programs at Penn.
