Meet Elmer Montgomery, a 100-year-old Oklahoma native filled to the brim with grit and tenacity. He served in the Navy during World War II and spent decades scaling trees professionally. This centenarian veteran still rises early to tend to his cattle, work his garden, and drive himself to the cafe every morning to have coffee with friends. He embodies the values of hard work, faith, and family that have defined his remarkable life. I would like to welcome you all to CAREGIVER Magazine. May this publication be a resource as you journey through caring for your loved one.

My siblings and our families have experienced those tender moments of caregiving as well as the laughter through tears, exhaustion, frustration and ultimately heart wrenching loss. The loss of both of our parents and our last grandparent between 2015-2017, profoundly changed our family forever.

The entire staff’s mission is to help you on your caregiving journey; provide encouragement, support, education and enrichment opportunities. What you are going through can be hard to process and manage.

Our primary focus is on helping your family navigate caregiving. Show kindness not only to the person you are caring for - but also for each other.
