The Town of Fenwick Island kicked off the Memorial Day weekend on Friday, May 26 with an observance featuring remarks by South Bethany resident and distinguished veteran Marianne “Mimi” Drew. The program also included a special rendition of “God Bless America” by combined voices of Phillip C. Showell Elementary School students and members of the St. Matthews By The Sea United Methodist Church Choir. The singers were led by Phillip C. Showell music teacher Debby Dudley.
