Georgia getting measurable snowfall before us is just wrong! However, I'm still seeing chances for Middle TN in the future models. Eventually one of them has to hold together... Hopefully!

Sunny and a little warmer today. A cold front will move through tonight into Wednesday morning, bringing rain to the area. We could see a few flurries mixed in Wednesday afternoon/night; however, chances are slim, and there will be no accumulation. Cold for the remainder of the week. Nightly temperatures in the teens are possible this weekend, if not before.

NWS latest thinking pretty much lines up with my post from this morning. The chances of some snow this week are dwindling. The GFS and ECMWF still sniffing around for something on Sunday but its a pretty low chance .

Those 2 snow chances have went down in the model runs this morning. Still showing maybe a few Flurries to a Dusting Possible in some areas. We will keep watching 🤷‍♂️
Either way its gonna be cold!

THIS IS NOT A FORECAST... Just something being watched for now. This weekend Saturday into Sunday we could see some snow. Exact amounts, Timing, Etc. will bounce around Day to Day with each model run up until the day of. And different model types will show different things and come more into an agreement closer to that time frame. Below is the GFS model which does tend to exaggerate things at times. I also looked at the Euro, and it shows less accumulation BUT it does show a chance for some snow. All kinds of ingredients will have to come together for this to play out.

Wednesday into Thursday this week there may be a chance for some Flurries in Middle TN also, but chances are slim at this time.

One thing I can say for sure is the Models are finally starting to show a pattern shift more towards Wintry Weather chances throughout the rest of the month.

A few of the models are floating around the idea of Snow next week. We are too far out to say for sure. But.... There is a slight chance. Exact locations and Amounts will be changing Day to Day and it could end up being nothing but it's something to watch out for.
