Mikel Obi has finally responded to 2Baba, shedding light on why he allegedly snubbed the music icon during a chance meeting in London.

Reflecting on their shared history, Mikel said:

"At a time when everyone was making sure that all hands were on deck to move the Nigerian brand into the world stage, destiny brought me into the winning stage with my brother Mikel Obi, who was also winning from the football angle.

At that time, he was at the centre of argum€nt for two great clubs Manchester United and Chelsea, he was getting all the love from football lovers and I was getting all the love from musical lovers for putting Afrobeats on the world map at that time.
