Smoked Chicken salad sandwiches π₯ͺ on toasted bread π.
The other day I smoked a chicken just because and didn't quite know what to do with it.. It was hot & humid so I wanted something cold. That's where I decided chicken salad would be a great idea to use this smoked chicken π.
π This bird was seasoned with Kosmo's Q Competition BBQ Products to begin with.
π Smoked in the Pit Barrel Cooker Co. using Smokey Woods lump charcoal & Cherry π chunks πͺπͺ΅.
π Once reaching a internal temperature of 165Β° removed, took my photos πΈ and put into fridge to cool down.
A few hrs later it was chicken salad time π .Removed chicken π from fridge and shredded.
Now everything at this point was pretty much just to taste.
π Miracle whip, chopped celery, chopped red onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, more Kosmo's Q BBQ & Grilling Supply "Dirty Bird", little diced pickle.
π Loaded in-between 2 slices of toasted bread π.
This was Absolutely deeeeeeelicious, refreshing and still that hint of smoke behind all that loaded goodness. π―ππππ.

Yesterday I got ahead of myself with the yard work. Today probably clean car after work. Have a pretty yummy post to make later ( time pending).

Cherry smoked - 4 hour snackin' ribs πππͺπͺ΅π₯π¨

I had a hankering for some ribs but didn't have very much time on my hands.
That's why I love β€οΈ my Pit Barrel Cooker Co. especially when it comes to ribs. If you didn't know it's a rib cooking machineπ. Set it & forget it π―.
π Seasoned this St. Louis spare rib with a combination of Kosmo's Q Competition BBQ Products "Dirty Bird" & "Honey π― killer bee π"
(Perfect combo if you didn't know π€)
π I let that sweat in & proceeded to get the PBC ready for cooking with Smokey Woods Lump charcoal & Cherry π Chunks. π₯π₯π₯π¨π¨π¨π¨ (Find them at your local Ace hardware)
π 30 minutes after seasoning I hooked the ribs & hung in the PBC & covered with the lid. (That's that, literally set it and wait for them to finish)
π 4 hrs later & "PRESTO"βRibs have great color, nice & tender.

Are you having problems running your backyard offset smoker β Let us suggest @smokeywoodsbbq . They offer the perfect size wood πͺ΅ sticks for your backyard offset smoker. You need airflow in that firebox and if you overload it with big ol' logs it prevents good airflow resulting in a choked out fire & dirty smoke. Find the local firewood company who specializes in these services for prices. 2. Call your campground to get permission for a off-site vendor to drop off a big load of wood πͺ΅. ( Corporate campgrounds likely won't allow this) 3. Schedule your date/ camp info 4. Have a great week full of fires π₯ without having to worry about having enough wood to get through. (Sometimes they have things called "misfits", the odd shaped wood pieces that aren't pretty enough to put in bundles for sale.
