CELEBRITY MURDERS - Time To Kill Space

Filthy and overcrowded to the point of insanity, New York City’s bleak political and social realities have always shaped the music, lyrics, and lives of the punk bands that inhabit it. CELEBRITY MURDERS are simply the latest to scream back. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Mike DeLorenzo (KILL YOUR IDOLS, C.R.) and vocalist Artie Philie (INDECISION, MILHOUSE), this band ignores the usual bu****it clichés and gimmicks in favor of music as sincere and passionate as it is violent and offensive. Easily identifiable influences to this end include the bone-grinding hardcore of legendary sh*t-disturbers such as INFEST, CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER, BORN AGAINST, SHEER TERROR, and of course BLACK FLAG.
Quickly selling out of nearly a thousand copies of their 2003 demo while playing shows with the likes of PAINT IT BLACK, DROP DEAD, SICK OF IT ALL, FU**ED UP, CAREER SU***DE, DAS OATH, SUBMISSION HOLD, FORWARD TO DEATH, and CRIME IN STEREO, the lineup of CELEBRITY MURDERS shuffled slightly last year to include Elway (C.R., MURDOCK) on drums, Sean McCann (MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD, THE DYING LIGHT) on bass, and Brian Van Meehan (KILL YOUR IDOLS, MILHOUSE) on second guitar. A collectors’ edition 7” EP sold out almost as quickly as it was released, and outstanding reviews began to surface in stalwart punk ‘zines like Maximum Rock n’ Roll and HeartattaCk.

HARDESTY - What Doesn't Make Us Stronger Only Kills Us

Hardesty was a short-lived Seattle hardcore band that combined the members love of Black Flag, Unbroken and Quicksand. They released one record before breaking up in 2003.
Their lone full length, "What Doesn't Make Us Stronger Only Kills Us," was released on CD by 12 Volt Records and on LP by Excursion Records in 2002.
Members went on to play in the hardcore band Dead In Hollywood and vocalist Eagle Barber has played drums in Stay Gold, Frontier(s) and currently sings/guitars for The Alpha Bronze.

Out of print for close to 5 years, UNRESTRAINED "Forward Onto Death" LP is available again in a small pressing of 151 copies on sky blue vinyl.

After a number of widespread 7"s, split 7"s and compilation tracks Portland, OR natives UNRESTRAINED, who are made up of ex members and current members of Cutting Through, The Physical Challenge, Backlash and The Dead Unknown, have crafted their debut full length release containing 8 songs that show a darker, heavier side while still maintaining the urgency of their earlier recordings. This is a more focused UNRESTRAINED, taking cues from some of the 90's metallic hardcore legends such as Strain, Threadbare and For The Love Of both musically and lyrically with topics discussing same s*x marriage, religious distrust and political corruption.
