Does it ever rain in Egypt? This is a question we usually get asked while on the Stargates of Ancient Egypt tour, and the answer is, “Yes,” but it rarely ever does, averaging less than three inches per year.” Some remote desert areas might not see raindrops for years. Yet, amazingly, on two of the three Stargates tours it has rained … ok, it more likely barely drizzled, but precipitation fell from the sky. And that happened this year on Day 4 as we headed out of the Imhotep Museum at Saqqara on our way back to the bus which was to transport us up to the Step Pyramid for another amazing exploration of the area and a venture into sound technology.
