Admittedly, I’m a little late to the game. Ok, I’m way late to have started watching Doctor Who, but my lovely bride, Kate, has been a Whovian all her life and wasted no time in introducing me to the renowned time traveler when she and I first got together. Since we just finished the Matt Smith story arc (everyone tells me it’s all downhill from there) and I happen to write and research extensively about time travel (see Travels Through Time: Inside the Fourth Dimension, Time Travel, and Stacked Time Theory), I thought it would be a good time to weigh in about my thoughts regarding the Doctor’s adventures in the TARDIS and how it all might relate to real time travel.
