Hard times can make you appreciate the good times.

What’s our story?

A lot of people said we wouldn’t make it. I was too young. There’s a 10 year age difference. I was 19, Keef was 29.

We met back in 2002. Lived in the same small town but didn’t know each other.

Keef was facing one of the toughest times of his life and I wasn’t in the best place either.

My friend Sharon told me you have to meet this guy. I brushed it off since she worked for a divorce attorney.

As fate would have it, I stopped by that attorney’s office to use their copy machine and saw him. Immediately asked Sharon who is that? When Keef got out of his appointment he immediately asked her the same thing.

The connection was instantaneous and I knew right away he was the one.

People said we would never make it from day one, here we are 22 years later in love more than ever.

Sometimes the best of things can come from the worse of times!
