You say you want rentals… but are you really ready for this?
📆 It’s the 6th of the month, and tenants still owe us $169,365 in rent.
On the 5th, late fees kick in, an extra 10%.
But November and December?
They’re always the worst.

Why?

Because some tenants gamble.
🎰 They roll the dice on tax refunds or promises from friends to bail them out or hope we won’t notice. But this isn’t a side hustle for us. It’s a business and a big one.

Don’t let the idea of “mailbox money” fool you.

When a small business donates 10,000 to a charity, how much does it actually save them on taxes?

Most people think the business gets the whole 10,000 back.
It doesn’t work that way.

Here’s the real math:
A donation only reduces taxable income.
So if a business is in a 22 percent tax bracket, a 10,000 donation only saves about 2,200 on taxes.

You still gave away 10,000 to save 2,200.

And for anyone who says “Well, they’re doing it for the write-off”…
If that’s true, then give me 1,000 and I’ll hand you back 220.
If that doesn’t sound like a good deal, now you see the point.

Donating is great but it should come from the heart, not because someone thinks the IRS is paying you back.

Owner in interview: Where do you see yourself in the next few years?

Me (18 years old): Sitting where you’re sitting owning my own company.

Owner: Chuckles.

I was just a kid. No diploma in that binder had to finish up in summer school after all the “fun” I had during the year.
But I already had my first taste of leadership. I’d been a weekend plant supervisor and had just enough confidence (or craziness) to speak what I believed… even if I didn’t know how I’d get there.

Today, I look back and realize I wasn’t wrong.

If you feel behind or off track, just know this:
Your journey might be delayed, but it doesn’t mean you’re denied.
You just gotta keep showing up.
