I recently returned home from an adventure in Mongolia - learning about the ancient traditions of the eagle hunters 🦅 We stayed with these amazing individuals, capturing their way of life, and hearing their stories with the goal of creating a short documentary piece. Check out this little teaser video! 🎥
Mongolia is a vast beautiful country. We got some beautiful shots, but my favorite moments came from the interviews with the eagle hunters themselves.
They had never been interviewed before, and were excited to share their stories and insights into their traditions, way of life, tourism, and more.
This trip reaffirmed my passion for telling stories. Whether it’s a mini doc about the eagle hunters, or a brand story video for a company, storytelling is at the heart of what we do.
Storytelling is the oldest artform, and for a long time was really the only way of passing on information.
Cognitive psychologist Jerome Bruner suggests we are 22 times more likely to remember a fact when it has been wrapped in a story, because stories are memorable. Stories help us grab the gist of an idea quickly.
In branding, storytelling not only captivates but converts. It’s not just about what you do; it’s about the stories you tell.
