Social Media Commenting Policy
All J.Baker social media pages will focus on celebrating and supporting our schools, staff, students, and the related educational community. Our first priority is to share news and information about J.Baker and to promote interest and excitement. We have a duty to protect students, staff, and community members. As such any comments or posts that do not follow our commenting policy may be removed.
Commenters must behave in a socially acceptable manner, which includes using suitable language and treating other people respectfully and fairly while maintaining other individuals’ right to privacy. The following is strictly prohibited:
* Posting personal information about students, staff, parents, or volunteers.
* Posting images of staff, students, volunteers, or parents without expressly written authorization.
* Any message, in any form, that intimidates, harasses or otherwise harms, insults, or humiliates another person or group.
* Any ad hominem attacks on another individual or group.
* SPAM - meaning any attempt to: have viewers visit a website, sell products, or promote commercial or other ventures.
* Comments that are wildly off-topic.
* Any content that is profane, violent, obscene, abusive, illegal, racist, sexist, libel, false, harmful to minors, or otherwise unfit in an educational setting.
