We will be out chasing tomorrow probobly as another system sets up in the southern plaines. This system also looks like its following the same path as last week which could be bad for the people of Mississippi.

A great day here in Central Oklahoma tomorrow, sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Some possible rain in the pandhandle but rain to move in here around thursday maybe friday. If the GFS models hold up we could be looking at some pretty big storms coming in next thursday as a huge trough moves in our way and the gulf finally looking like its gonna open up a little. Next couple of days will be partly cloudy with alot of sun. Highs will be in the upper 70s lower 80s. As a surface Low comes in on friday we are looking at some possible rain friday. We are also looking at the models for a possible chase oppertunity early next week.

Next couple of days will be clear and sunny here in OK. Spring has arrived with good temperatures and troughs coming in week after week supporting storms. I am currently trying to forecast a good target are for the 12th or the 13th. Keepin ya posted, TWC.

As a pretty potent system moves in to the southern plains today our chance for thunderstorms increase. A chance of hail and gusty winds come in late this afternoon here in central OK. Now as daytime heating plus other ingrediants come in to play in North East and Eastern OK, Western AK, and South Eastern KS there is a pretty good chance of tornados. I will be sitting this one out in hopes of a very active april and may.

Hioe everyone is enjoing the 64 DEGREES temperatures outside!!!! As a system creeps in here for the weekend cloud cover will increase through tonight and tomorrow but keeping the warm temperatures steady. Saturday a slight chance of rain but would not expect it. Sunday, in the words of Mr. Ollie Williams, "IT GONNA RAIN!" Thanks and enjoy the warm weather, TWC.

Today possibly a little cold rain this morning before noon. Once the rain passes temperatures climb to the mid 40s but watch for a chilly wind. Tonight partly cloudy with a chill to the air. Tomorrow sunny with a high possibly in the 60s. Have a great day, TWC.

Snow is back in the forecast for tomorrow but do not fret, the ground temperatures will keep it from sticking. Snow will continue until tomorrow afternoon turning into rain then leaving us cloudy tomorrow night. Saturday is still planning to be a great day, sunny, and highs in the mid 50s. Sunday a week system moves in for possibly a little more rain. Thanks, TWC.

Enjoy the sunshine! Sunny again tomorrow then a chance of rain tomorrow night as a system moves through. Rain on friday but this system will not knock the temperatures back down like the last few. Expect a nice saturday with a few clouds and sunshine with highs in the lower to mid 50s. Have a great safe weekend. TWC.

Sorry for not updating in a while, I with alot of people have been scrambling around tryin to determine chase day 1 2010. So far, even though the GFS models flip flopping a couple of dates, my favorite target date is march 4th. The picture below shows some warm moist air coming from the gulf colliding with cold dry air from the north, 2 major factors for possible storms.

Light Snow to continue through the evening hours and possibly early in the morning. Highs tomorrow still to reach upper 40s as the high pressure system still rolls on through. As of right now temperatures for your saturday afternoon look even better reaching highs possibly in the mid to upper 50s and then on sunday we cool back down to the 40s. Again as the models roll through ill keep you posted.

The low in texas brought the storm a littlemore to the North then i expected. Texas right now is getting "blasted" with some snow as we are getting some light snow here in norman. As you can see from this insert temperatures (north of the storm) are climbing and as this storm passes the Norman and Metro areas should as well.

Tomorrows highs above 30? Tomorrow, temperatures will start to climb as we get under a ridge of high-pressure. In a high pressure system there is a lot of pressure being pressed down towards us so it usually stops a lot of lifting. What this means that it will start to be sunnier and warmer. Thur a few scattered showers in southern OK due to a low hitting TX. Fri we could see temperatures climb as high as the 50s!

As the storm moves on we look to our west and see another low pressure system moving this way. The good news is that the system will go south and not hit us, possibly ony bringing light showers to southern oklahoma. Bad News is the dry weather pattern that we will be under will bring a surge of cold, artic, air with it and it will be cold once again with highs possibly in the upper 30s for Wednesday and Thursday.
