Roze continues to facilitate retreats and conduct workshops and seminars on a great many topics pertaining to soft-people skills, including but not limited to leadership, effective communications, mentoring, team building, and customer service. She also conducts one-on-one coaching/mentoring sessions with individuals, helping them find the right jobs (assists with their resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, interviewing techniques, networking, etc.); address issues in their current jobs; and transition from one career/job to a new one.

I love my Red Stone Ladies at Westminster Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay! We had another wonderful day together, sharing stories and special moments. They opened their hearts once again, telling me more about their lives. And I had the joy of reading additional passages from “HEARTS: Finding Unexpected Signs of Hope, Comfort, and Joy,” along with sharing new heart-finds not in the book.

I was deeply touched to learn something special about their colorful Red Stone Antiques poster. It was created for their Mardi Gras parade, but they insisted on including hearts with me in mind. If you look closely, you’ll see that the red fringe is filled with hearts! They couldn’t wait for me to see it, and I couldn’t have been more moved.

I already can’t wait for our next get-together. We’ll be celebrating one of the ladies’ 104th birthday! What a truly special day it will be!❤❤❤

Everyone faces trials and tribulations, each handling them in their own way. As much as I love February, our heart month, it was also incredibly challenging this year.

On one of the hard days, we gathered for the funeral of a loved one. My heart and mind were swirling with emotions. A few hours before the service, Brad took me to the Franklin post office to mail a letter that included a check. Because of recent mail theft from the blue collection boxes, I felt I had to go inside to mail it safely. Brad thought I was worrying too much, but he understood and accommodated me.

And then, just as I was rushing back to his truck, this perfectly shaped heart stopped me in my tracks. It brought tears to my eyes. In that moment, I felt God’s presence. He was letting me know that Brad, Sheree, and I were not alone.

I didn’t even notice its shiny silver side until after we had left the post office parking lot.
