The live stream event for the NBA 2K22 Draft was an exemplary extended reality (xR) project.

Set extension allowed us to create an entire world around our physical xR stage, placing both hosts into an immersive, virtual elite league basketball court.

The NBA 2K League Draft image was superimposed on the physical hosts' desk, using augmented reality.

In-camera VFX brings it all together LIVE to create one seamless world, merging both the physical and digital dimensions.

The draft was live-streamed to YouTube & Twitch, where it accumulated over 400K views. The entire event was produced & directed remotely from Vancouver by Defacto Entertainment in conjunction with ATL and a red carpet event in NYC.
