The photo shows a large sinkhole, perhaps a natural sinkhole also known as a doline. The cave opens like a giant mouth in the ground, with steep limestone walls and covered with lush green vegetation. At the bottom of the sinkhole, a vast entrance can be seen leading deep into the ground, creating a scene that is both majestic and mysterious. Some people and tracks can be seen at the bottom, showing the impressive scale of the sinkhole compared to human size. The landscape surrounding the cave is filled with fields and trees, adding to the natural beauty of the area.

Buddy Miles & Jim Hendrix the day after Monterey Pop Festival in The Panhandle, San Francisco, 1967⁣
The Band of Gypsys are immortalized on an acclaimed album of the same name, which drew from four shows performed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York City. Miles contributed two of his own compositions, “We Gotta Live Together” and “Changes.”
“All the shows were bad-ass,” Miles told Seconds magazine in 1995. “It was the highlight of my life, and I had a good time playing those shows. That was vintage James Marshall Hendrix.”
Asked by Seconds how he would like to be remembered, Miles said: “The baddest of the bad. People say I’m the baddest drummer. If that’s true, thank you world.”

Honestly, I have no idea what this is! This Beetle appears to have been merged with the running gear parts from a Kettenkrad, forming a strange half-track type machine. Judging by the environment, it looks like it may be a Frankenstein's monster created for farm work. Whatever it is, it looks cool and I want one i name it the Bettlekrad.

The Dagenham Women’s Strike, 1968.

The Dagenham Women’s Strike of 1968 was a landmark event in British labour history and a significant moment in the struggle for gender equality. On 7 June 1968, female workers at the Ford Dagenham plant in Essex, who worked as sewing machinists, walked out in protest against their wages being classified as "unskilled," which resulted in them earning significantly less than their male counterparts despite performing similar work.

This strike, which lasted three weeks, brought national attention to the issue of pay inequality and played a crucial role in advocating for equal pay.

The striking workers' demands were eventually met, leading to a reclassification of their work and an increase in their wages. This pivotal event contributed to the passing of the Equal Pay Act 1970, marking a significant step towards achieving fair pay and advancing women's rights in the workplace.

The Dagenham Women’s Strike is remembered as a powerful example of the impact of collective action in challenging and changing systemic inequalities.

The great Windsor Davies. "Move yerselves, move yerselves!"

Windsor Davies was a beloved British actor, best known for his role as the booming, no-nonsense Sergeant Major Williams in the classic sitcom *It Ain't Half Hot Mum*. His catchphrase, "Move yerselves, move yerselves!" became iconic, capturing the gruff but ultimately well-meaning nature of his character. The show, which ran from 1974 to 1981, was set during the final years of the British Raj in India and followed the misadventures of a group of soldiers in a Royal Artillery Concert Party.

Davies' portrayal of the loud, often intimidating but deeply funny Sergeant Major was a masterclass in comic timing and character acting. His Welsh accent, combined with his stern demeanour, made his character both memorable and endearing to viewers. Despite the tough exterior, there was a warmth to his performance that hinted at the affection his character had for the soldiers under his command, even if he showed it in the most gruff way possible.

Before his role in *It Ain't Half Hot Mum*, Davies had already established himself as a talented actor on both stage and screen, but it was this role that truly made him a household name. Witness the Delikkemer Aqueduct near Patara in Fethiye, Türkiye—an audacious feat of ancient engineering that would put today's infrastructure to shame. Conceived during Emperor Claudius's reign (41-54 CE) and given a new lease of life under Emperor Vespasian (69-79 CE), this audacious structure transported water from a lofty source nearly 700 meters above sea level, stretching an impressive 23 kilometers to service the thirsty city. Fast forward to now, and you’ll find just a measly 200-meter segment left, rising defiantly to 10 meters at its pinnacle.

Unlike the conventional aqueducts flaunting their trough-watercourses, this marvel pulls off a daring twist—it utilizes a stone block pipe instead. And get this: it’s designed as a reverse siphonic aqueduct, allowing it to defy gravity by transporting water uphill across valleys.

Each crafted stone block packs some serious heft, measuring about 90 centimeters square and 50 centimeters thick, with a central hole of 30 centimeters in diameter. One side sports a recessed groove while the other boasts a spigot. When linked, the spigot of one block snugly fits into the recess of the next, creating a continuous pipeline that is anything but ordinary. Mortar seals these blocks, giving birth to a large-diameter water pipe that can withstand immense pressure. This wasn’t just smart; it was revolutionary—ensuring a steady and reliable water supply for the city, a bold move that echoes through the ages.
