Today is the solar eclipse! Safety is key for both driving and viewing the eclipse. Make sure you wear your safety glasses when viewing the eclipse and take them off when you drive.

Monday, April 8 is the solar eclipse, and crews will not be working that day. The area is still an active construction site, and SR 32 is closed at 16th Street. Please be careful and take note of the official detour routes as you travel to see the eclipse.

We are developing pedestrian detour routes so that access to all businesses can be maintained during construction. The existing sidewalks will be preserved to the extent possible, and detours will be posted to upgrade ADA curb ramps.
