The new Mac Pro has arrived! I hate to admit it, but I might like Apple. I have resisted the BORG (in futility) for so long, however, I have never installed Pro Tools software on a Windows PC without some sort of glitch to workout to get it to load and work properly. It loaded right up on the Mac and ran. So if that is any indication, knock on wood, it should be smooth sailing. I will know this weekend when I start getting back into the nitty gritty of the program! :)

The Man Cave Studio has officially joined the Evil Empire. Yep, the beloved studio Hewlett Packard Workstation PC (aka Hal) in which I ran Pro Tools recording software for many years finally conked out. So I ordered an Apple Mac Pro...I feel so dirty! But I am told Pro Tools, a very finicky complex processor sucking but incredibly awesome recording software, can run a high number of operations and plugins better on Mac than PC...It better! Ok, now I need more recording clients to pay for this thing!!! :)

Did you know that the band Led Zeppelin got their name from The Who drummer Keith Moon? They came up with the name when Keith told them their band will go down like a lead balloon. History tells us Keith's prediction was thankfully waaaay off! :)

Nothing sounds more awesome than the warm, clean, bell like tones of Fender Stratocaster switched to the neck pickup being played through a 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp...just sayin! :)
