Got to nerd out extra hard this weekend.

Got a micro PC with 256GB SSD with 8GB DDR4 and Windows 11 Pro. Setup my Minecraft server on there and it all worked. But that was too swift, and when checking the resources, I could see Windows 11 Pro leaves no room to work with those specs.

Whipped out Lubuntu, which is a special lighter weight version of Ubuntu, nuked Windows off the SSD and began my journey.

Now I’m running my Bedrock server off the new micro PC using Lubuntu, and it screams. No stutters or lag. Then I created a subdomain from one of my existing websites that points to the server.

Now I can play minecraft with the kids and nieces and nephews anytime on our own private server with no monthly fees or anything!

And I can Minecraft on breaks at work with Bedrock on iOS and have all the progress be there for when I get back to the Series X at home! 🤓

Any of you guys like to play Minecraft?
