What a difference a year can make! 🫛🕊️🌿A few before and afters of some landscaping and yard work we’ve done since moving in. We wanted to incorporate California native plants and some wild, whimsical ones into our . The main goals were to be perennial, have a space in the front yard to make a quick bouquet and never have to buy herbs from the store. Half of the front yard is edible so it’s the perfect blend of landscaping and farming. We have fruit trees and an entire veggie garden in the backyard I’ll share next! We planted: white westringia, creeping rosemary, white yarrow, lavenders, olive, salvia, Santa Barbara daisies, creeping fig, feather grass, Matilda poppy, pineapple guava, espalier apple, thyme, sage, cilantro, mint and basil. Beyond thankful for my husband who’s always down to get dirty and did most of the work while I was baking baby girl.
