On Monday, December 4th, advertising website Mid-Hudson News published a gruesome and demonstrably false story about a homicide in the City of Newburgh. This patently false report was published with reckless disregard for the facts and basic tenets of professional journalism.

The sustained and intensifying proliferation of false reporting driven by clickbait ethics erodes public trust in our civic institutions, and is a frontline threat against American democracy.

The City of Newburgh has demanded a public retraction and correction from the Publisher of Mid-Hudson News. Read more below:

In a sweeping decision that could be expensive but beneficial to public health, the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday proposed requiring water utilities nationwide to replace all of their lead pipes for the first time.

If finalized, the rule would compel local utilities nationwide to dig up and replace lead piping in an ambitious effort to protect children and the public from the potent neurotoxin. It would be a massive undertaking and would not be cheap. The EPA has said it could cost $45 billion. https://wapo.st/47WXbpW

Tabby's Tails is raising money to open an animal shelter in the city of Newburgh. We are currently working on securing a lot to place a mobile kennel on. What is a mobile Kennel?? A mobile Kennel is a more cost effective solution to the the more traditional brick and mortar animal shelters. A Kennel unit has been researched to start at $50,000 and over. These Kennel units would come equipped with heating, air condition, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, indoor/outdoor living spaces for the animals and much more.
To make a donation please contact us @gmail.com, Paypal or check can be made payable to Tabby's Tails at 610 Broadway #329 Newburgh NY 12550. All donations are Tax Deductible. For more information visit our website .org.

The respiratory virus RSV is on the rise this fall and is now outpacing both flu and COVID cases, which is highly unusual. While symptoms are similar to a cold and usually mild, RSV can cause serious illness for older adults, people with a weakened immune system or other medical conditions, and very young children. The Department encourages people 60 and over to talk to their health care provider about their need for the RSV vaccine.
