Sorry for the slow updates, been busy building some goodies for the sim. So, the leagues have been going well. I'm sitting 2nd in points in the Sunday night 87's, although that series is on hiatus for the time being, and 8th in points in the Tuesday night trucks. Focus is going to switching to running the xfinity cars in several different leagues starting next week and getting the whole streaming thing figured out in the coming weeks as broadcasts have been hit or miss due to car counts and holidays. So stay tuned for that!
On to the the goodies! Took the plunge and built my first pc, it was not as hard as I thought it would be lol. The build is a meshify-c case, msi z590 motherboard, Intel 10700kf with liquid cooler, 3060 gpu, and 64 gb of 3600 mhz ram. Powered by an corsair 850 watt supply. Monitor wise, I found a screaming deal on a samsung G9 49"monitor, and still running an old screen I had laying around for my secondary.
For the peripherals, it's mostly logitec, I've had good luck with their stuff, and so far everything is on point. G910 Keyboard, G502 hero mouse, ProX headset, and of course still running the G923 wheel and the logitech shifter although I've modified it fairly heavily. I did ditch the stock pedals, picked up a set of thrustmaster tclm pedals. So thats all that.
The desk just wasn't cutting it as far as racing went, so I picked up a rig kit from trak racer, and man, I'm absolutely in love with this setup lol. So much easier to be consistent and the immersion factor is awesome. So that's where we're at here at MBRe!
