About Luchia Dragosh
I am a six-time New York Emmy nominated and award-winning producer, director, and editor skilled in various production formats including live television, documentary, and storytelling form. Specializing in character-driven long & short form episodic content and journalistic documentaries with a positive social message that range from women empowerment to young women in tech to arts and crafts to LGBTQ rights.
In my 20+ years career and now at QPTV I shepherd over 300 projects through all phases of production including development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, final sign-off, and delivery. I worked with budgets ranging from $0 - $1,000,000 and regularly finished under budget. I developed content strategies from the ground up including 7 new series congruent with the new brand and aesthetics, and our work went on to earn 23 national awards and 3 New York Emmy nominations.
I created budgets, recruited, and maintained a roster of 10+ camera operators, editors, and audio engineers and supervised on daily basis 3 full-time employees. Conducted trainings to grow the technical skills of the junior video journalists, editors and producers.
