Cheers to this guy! While driving the bus, the driver spotted a lost and confused puppy right in the middle of the road. He jumped into action, scooped up the puppy, and gave it some food and water. The passengers felt inspired by his kind gesture and captured the moment on their phones.

This is Ocho. Ocho lives in my bathroom and hangs out on my orchid plant. Every day I soak a Q-Tip in water and put it down for him wherever he is (on the plant or behind the toilet or on the vanity) and he comes running over and gets a drink. Was my first reaction to smash him? Nope. To flush him down the toilet? Nope. To β€œburn it to the ground”? Nope. He’s literally a fraction of my size. I could easily kill him, but I choose to be kind. He deserves to be on this earth as much as I do. In fact, he contributes way more to the natural order of life on earth than I do. It’s so easy to choose kindness. I encourage everyone to take a moment and make sure the language you use when it comes to spiders, insects, rodents, etc. is kind and not fearful or disgusted. None of these beings are pests or threatening. Let them be. Help them if you can. Be kind. It’s so simple. πŸ•·οΈ

Some of you are not aware of the size difference between an African hunting dog and a spotted hyena. This is one of those rare wildlife encounters luckily captured whilst out researching, or similar. These two are serious enemies and readily attack each other as both are considered large predators and prey on similar animals. A spotted hyena can easily overpower and kill/harm an African wild dog so, these dogs usually chase or attack a spotted hyena as a pack. Who knows what happened here. Our wild life is full of little things we see as impossible. I believe these two shared an awkward greeting and then went their own way!

I lost my ole boy on the 3rd of January. His name was whiskey He was 17. I fully know he needed to go but my heart hasn't processed it. I miss him so much. It's the quiet in the house and the stillness. The empty I feel when I am silently reminded he isn't here anymore. I would give anything for just one more day. One more pet. One more snuggle. One more ride. He was the best boy. He was My light when things were dark and life didn't make sense. He always did. The loss of him just hurts.

Devastating day yesterday as our beloved Shadow crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He was not being his usual self for two weeks so we took him in for a checkup on Saturday. One X-ray later revealed a large mass and were other organs affected too. We took him home to spend time with him as well as for him to say goodbye to my other two pups. Soo sad when you don’t want them to go. Eight and a half years is too young. He was my best friend and we will miss himπŸ’”
