Skylar Blatt reflects on the collaboration with Chris Brown;

In a recent interview with the channel "411 Uncut" Skylar Blatt shared how the collaboration with Chris Brown happened.

The song "Wake Up" was released on July 19, 2024, the music video on April 26.

"I knew he would like it, you don't send anything to Chris Brown, I was sure he would accept"

"I was in the car, and Chris Brown called me on facetime, he said can you talk? I thought, like, it's Chris Brown, of course I can"

"At that moment I made a video capture, I needed to record this, stopped the car and said; What's happening, my heart was racing"

Skylar said it was Breezy himself who wanted to record a music video, he just said; "get a cameraman let's record at my house".

"That was genuine, it's not about fame, he opened the door of his house to me"

She goes on to say that CB said to release as soon as possible, advising the singer that the right date is the present moment, the singer's team had a project, but CB managed to convince them to launch.

The track became the biggest success of the artist's career, getting her first million on both Spotify and YouTube, the artist had only 8,000 monthly listeners before the song, and reached a peak of 1.5 million.

Skylar did not fail to thank Breezy in the interview;

"I'm not going to lie, it changed my life, really," Skylar added.
