So, I moved to a completely new city for college, and it hit me hard. I was seven hours away from my mom, my only real anchor in life, and the loneliness was real. But I knew it was time to grow up and step into adulthood.

To keep busy, I got a job at a local store. On my first day, I was welcomed by a sweet, kind coworker named Elisa. She was instantly warm and easy to talk to, but then came the weird part.

The more time I spent around her, the more I noticed something strange—Elisa LOOKED A LOT LIKE MY MOM. Same facial features, same eyes, even her mannerisms. I brushed it off at first, thinking I was just projecting because I missed home so much.

But as we were working one day, Elisa started humming a tune. Not just any tune—my mom's tune, one I'd never heard anyone else hum before.

That was the final straw. I called my mom right after my shift and said, "Mom, I work with a woman named Elisa. She looks just like you—and she even hums your tune."

There was a long silence on the other end. When my mom finally spoke, her voice was shaky. After a lot of awkward excuses that didn't add up, she finally said, "Honey, I don't know how you'll react to this, but I might know who that is." 😳👇

I SAW THE MESSAGE “I’M PREGNANT” ON MY HUSBAND’S PHONE AND SECRETLY CAME TO HIS DINNER WITH A STRANGER.
Until a week ago, I thought I knew everything about my husband. For twelve years, we’d been inseparable, raising two lovely kids. I’d never had a reason to distrust him. We shared everything—our phones, our plans, our dreams.
Then, last Tuesday, his phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number caught my eye: “I'M PREGNANT.”
At first, I laughed, assuming it was some kind of mistake. But then I saw another message: “Will be waiting for you at X restaurant on Friday. Got a reservation at 7 pm. See you then, love you.” On the “appointment day,” my husband claimed he had a work meeting and would stay late.
I had no doubt left that my husband lied to me. At 7:30 pm, I was at the mentioned restaurant, anxious and afraid. I saw my husband sitting at the table, his hand on HERS.

My grandmother, Helen, lived alone in a small house surrounded by the most beautiful garden I’d ever seen. At 80, she had become a lonely figure, shunned by our family. They abandoned her, dismissing her as a poor old woman who rambled endlessly about her flowers.

But I always loved her. Unfortunately, I lived hundreds of kilometers away and couldn’t visit as often as I wanted.
