Taylor Swift Earns Praise for 'Amazing' Gesture at Eras Show in Vancouver
After a year and a half on the road, Taylor Swift kicks off the last weekend of her record-breaking Eras tour in Vancouver, British Columbia on Dec. 6.
The Eras tour, which stopped in 21 countries across the globe, became the highest-grossing tour in history. Amid the tour's unprecedented success and the release her 11th studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift became the wealthiest female musician in the world with a net worth of $1.6 billion.
A week before the Eras tour's final weekend, Swift released, "The Eras Tour Book" exclusively at Target, which quickly became the best-selling print book of 2024.
Amid the "Karma" singer's staggering success, the 34-year-old pop star wanted make sure every single fan who attended the Eras tour's final stop at BC Place felt the love, especially those who could only afford the worst seats in the house.
While the hard-working crew set the stage for Night 1 of the Eras show on Friday, screens were installed for the "behind the stage" seats. Fans who paid $16 to merely listen to Swift's show will now get to watch a livestream of the performance, as well.
One fan responded, "She’s actually so amazing for this." One woman wrote, "I knew she would add TVs!!!! She wasn't going to leave her fans out like that. Its going to be cool to see the whole stadium full!"

Sunday Night Football’s Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Post Causes a Stir
The social media accounts for NBC's "Sunday Night Football" were ready for the reaction from NFL fans when they made a post about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on Friday.
The caption provided a perfect response to anyone who questioned the reason they would make a graphic to honor the end of Swift's Eras Tour.
"Karma is the numbers on the screen," it said, displaying Kelce's stats since the Eras Tour began on March 17, 2023.
The final night of the singer's record-breaking tour coincides with the date that her boyfriend's Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers on NBC's marquee Sunday night program.
"Take this down now," growled a popular comment on the post on Instagram.
"Delete this post," echoed another response, which gained more than 100 likes in less than an hour.
The graphic included the impressive stats both stars racked up since the Eras Tour started. Since the start of the 2023 season, Kelce's 168 catches are the most of any NFL tight end, resulting in 1,671 receiving yards and a Super Bowl LVIII ring.
The side-by-side comparison with Swift's numbers showed that the "Midnights" artist sold more than 11 million tickets to her 152 shows on five continents, generating upwards of $2 billion in ticket sales.
"It’s hilarious how NBC made this post thinking people wouldn’t be mad," a fan mused on Instagram.
"Hope you’re aware this post makes it look more probable that games are being fixed in the chiefs favor to benefit the viewership gain from Swifties," ranted a comment.
Swift's final show takes place on Sunday night in Vancouver, which will prevent her from attending the Chiefs' AFC West divisional showdown on "Sunday Night Football" against the Chargers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
She has attended six of Kelce's games this season — all in Kansas City — and the Chiefs are 6-0 in those contests.
On the other end of the spectrum, some of Swift's fans were upset that Kelce would not be free to attend the final night of the tour. Kelce made 14 appearances at her shows during the course of the tour.
Overall, they were excited to see SNF give a nod to Swift and Kelce's relationship on the public platform.
"Love cheering for them both!" a user replied under the graphic on X. "It's awesome seeing people excel at their jobs and use their talents, and it's been so cool to see them support each other."

Even though Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were far from each other on Sunday, the pop star made sure to show her boyfriend some love during the final weekend of her tour.
While Kelce and the Chiefs hosted a "Sunday Night Football" game against the Los Angeles Chargers on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift was in Vancouver for the "Eras Tour" finale. Swift showed support for her partner with a couple of romantic gestures that have become norms during her performance.
Swift wore an outfit in the Chiefs' signature red and gold colors for the 1989 era. She also altered the lyrics of her song "Karma" to reference the team and Kelce.
"Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," Swift sang, changing the lyrics from the original line of "Karma is the guy on the screen."
A fan account captured the moment and shared it online, where it garnered plenty of reactions from other Swifties.
"Oh my heart. Screaming rn," a fan shared. Another one said, "SO ICONIC."
"Taylor really saved the best for last! Karma IS the guy on the Chiefs!" a commenter added.
A fourth fan echoed the same sentiment, sharing, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs—what a legendary way to end it all!"
"Ending on such a high note! Karma always comes back around," a Swiftie added.

It's not the first time Taylor Swift has changed the "Karma" lyrics as a nod to Kelce. She has done it a number of times in the past, including during her October concert in Miami, though on most of the occasions she has done so Kelce was in the crowd.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly reached another relationship milestone — one Kelce's mom didn't even think would happen.
Just weeks after Donna Kelce shared that Swift, 34, was "kinda busy" with her wildly successful Eras Tour — when asked on Today if the pop star would celebrate the holiday with the Kelce family — it looks like Swift was not only able to carve time out of her schedule, but she was able to carve the turkey, too.
"Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families," a source told People in an article published on Sunday, December 1, with the insider adding: "It's the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together." (While Swift, 34, and Travis, 35, were dating last Thanksgiving, the pop star was on the South American leg of her Eras Tour over the holiday last year.)
"Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year," the source explained, noting it was a whole family affair. "[Travis' brother] Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special."
Jason Kelce, for his part, also has plenty to celebrate this holiday season, as he and wife Kylie Kelce — who are already the proud parents of three daughters — are expecting Baby No. 4, another girl, they announced late last month.

Sideræl—pronounced "sigh-deer-ee-el"—is, according to mom, "the true time of the universe, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time," and a nod to her favorite Lord of the Rings character, Galadriel, who "chooses to abdicate the ring."

Walter Isaacson revealed in his biography Elon Musk that Exa was born in December 2021 via surrogate.

The book also stated that around Father's Day 2022, the on-again, off-again couple welcomed a child named Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed Tau, also via surrogate. The biography includes a photo, dated June 2022, of Elon feeding the baby boyStrider & Azure (Kids)

In 2022, Business Insider published court documents that stated Elon welcomed twins in November 2021 with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The babies were born in Austin, Texas, where he lives.

He also seemingly weighed in on the report on X, writing, "Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far."

"Mark my words," he added, "they are sadly true."

Walter Isaacson wrote in his 2023 biography Elon Musk that the twins' full names are Strider Sekhar Sirius and Azure Astra Alice.

According to the latest betting odds at Bovada, Elon Musk now has the second-best odds to replace Woody Johnson as the owner of the New York Jets. Johnson has owned the struggling AFC East squad since 2000. According to Forbes’ valuations for 2024, the team is worth $6.9-billion.

Johnson has become the target of criticism amid a disastrous 2024 Jets season that was full of hope. But the first healthy season with Aaron Rodgers has been a disaster, with the Jets near the NFL basement at 3-8.

Though Johnson hasn’t expressed any interest in potentially selling the Jets, it only takes one can’t-miss offer. And with over a quarter of a trillion dollars in his bank account, Elon Musk could easily give Johnson a lucrative offer that couldn’t be turned down.

The longtime rivalry between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos spans over 15 years.

Publicly butting heads since 2004, the billionaires have taken part in unfriendly discourse over the years. While the two have competed in having the highest net worth, they've most notably engaged in a years-long space race with their respective reusable rocket companies.

Musk founded Space Exploration Technologies, aka SpaceX, in 2002. Two years prior, Bezos launched Blue Origin in 2000. Since the companies' inceptions, they have fiercely competed to be the first since 1972 to put humans back on the Moon.

The public dispute between the two remained quiet from 2004 until 2013 when Blue Origin filed a protest against SpaceX in an attempt to win over NASA and its Kennedy Space Center launchpad. This marked one of the many legal actions the CEOs have taken over the years.

In addition to filing lawsuits, Musk and Bezos have infamously turned to Twitter to shade each other — in which the SpaceX founder has been known to call the Blue Origin CEO a "copycat," among penning jabs at his Amazon pursuits.

Musk and Bezos met for dinner in 2004 to discuss their reusable rocket ambitions, prior to any launches taking place. Though their companies were both in their beginning stages, the two CEOs seemingly didn't get along from the start.

"I actually did my best to give good advice, which he largely ignored," Musk said of Bezos after a dinner together, per Christian Davenport's book, The Space Barons.

In 2021, The Hustle's Trung Phan tweeted a photo taken of both Musk and Bezos at the 2004 dinner. Musk responded to the photo, writing: "Wow, hard to believe that was 17 years ago!"
Sept. 3, 2013: Blue Origin files protest against SpaceX's attempt to lease NASA's launchpad
Both Bezos' Blue Origin and Musk's SpaceX wanted to lease NASA's Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, each sending formal proposals to the space agency vying for the spot.

Blue Origin requested to convert it into a commercial pad that would be accessible to all launch companies, whereas SpaceX wanted to lease it exclusively for its Falcon family of rockets (though later said it would be open to sharing), per Space News.

Blue Origin later filed a protest to prevent SpaceX from using the pad and Musk lashed out at Bezos' company and the United Launch Alliance, saying that they were using a "phony blocking tactic" to hinder SpaceX's expansion plans.

Elon Musk and Amber Heard recall details about their relationship in Walter Isaacson's new biography Elon Musk.

In the book, out Tuesday, the SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO, 52, and the Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom actress, 37, open up about their romance, with which they went official in April 2017. The pair dated on and off in the months that followed, before breaking up for good in 2018.

Isaacson writes of their relationship in the biography's "Rocky Relationships" chapter that Musk first took an interest in the actress after seeing her in 2013's Machete Kills, and that they met when she visited SpaceX a year later.

"I guess I could be called a geek for someone who can also be called a hot chick," Heard said in the book, while Isaacson claimed Musk took her for a ride in a Tesla during that SpaceX visit.

Among other tidbits about their dynamic, Isaacson said Musk flew to Australia in April 2017 to visit Heard while she was filming Aquaman, and that she once commissioned a costume to "roleplay" a character Musk said she reminded him of: Mercy, from the video game Overwatch.
Isaacson also gets into some of the more tumultuous moments of Heard and Musk's time together, including a fight they had near the end of their relationship while on vacation in South America in December 2017 with family, including his brother Kimbal Musk.

While Heard allegedly admitted to Isaacson that the argument occurred, she also shared photos and videos of their evening afterward with him, which Isaacson said depicted the actress and tech mogul sharing a New Year's Eve kiss.

Of their relationship, Musk said in the biography, "It was brutal." For her part, Heard told Isaacson that she still loves her ex "very much," and added: "Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him."
Kimbal, 50, told Isaacson in the book that he thinks it's "really sad" his brother "falls in love with these people who are really mean to him."

"They're beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side and Elon knows that they're toxic," he continued.

Asked by Isaacson why he falls for these types of people, Musk laughed and replied, "Because I'm just a fool for love. I am often a fool, but especially for love."

A rep for Heard did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Monday.

Over a year after the breakup, Heard told The Hollywood Reporter in December 2018, "Elon and I had a beautiful relationship, and we have a beautiful friendship now, one that was based on our core values. Intellectual curiosity, ideas and conversation, a shared love for science. We just bonded on a lot of things that speak to who I am on the inside. I have so much respect for him."
