💟There were many many many reasons why I chose purple for my Label branding; particularly, lavender.

💜Historically Purple Ribbons stood for:
Lupus Awareness
Cancer (All) Awareness
Domestic Violence Prevention
Su***de Prevention
Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention

Most notably, they serve as a signal to the LGBTQIA community that this is a safe space for them. They are seen, supported and welcome. Hatred is not tolerated 💟

The McCarthyism era FROM THE 40s drove fear into the community and it wasn’t till JUNE 2020 that LGBTQIA PROFESSIONALS WERE ABLE TO BE OPENLY Q***R AT WORK WITHOUT FEAR OF RETALIATION.

It took 8 DECADES but being q***r is no longer an excuse to fire someone.
