The bag we all know and love—the Jackie by Gucci—just got a face-lift 63 years after its debut. Can you tell? There’s a lot of new flourishes, like the crystal abbondanza seen here. It’s the work of @sabatods, @gucci’s new creative director, who titled both his men’s and women’s spring collections “Ancora.” Literally the word means again in Italian, but it also evokes unfinished business, a craving for someone or something that you tried once and desire over and over, like this iconic handbag that we can’t get enough of. As the first stretch of fashion month comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite runway looks from the fall/winter 2024 collections. From Tommy Hilfiger and Altuzarra (who celebrated their 15th anniversary this year!) to Willy Chavarria, and everyone in between, the designers presented looks that awed, inspired, and surprised. At the link in bio, the very best moments of NYFW.
In what we considered to be a perfect New York City morning, Carolina Herrera—helmed by the talented @wesgordon—took over Wall Street earlier today to present their F/W 2024 collection. Here, a look at the closing walk of the beautiful show, courtesy of T&C’s Editor in Chief @stellenevolandes.
Since taking on the role of creative director of Bottega Veneta in 2021, Matthieu Blazy has manipulated leather into dazzling and unexpected pieces (remember the denim looking pants??). And for his spring 2024 collection, which included the Clam bag, he continued the trend. At the link in bio, and in our February issue, T&C’s @isiahmagsino breaks down the anatomy of this classic green leather bag—and why @matthieu_blazy wants to “reconnect to a primal world of animals, minerals, and plants.”

Lenny and Zoë. Ethan and Maya. Francis and Sofia. Swifties and their dads the world over. In our first issue of 2024, we pay tribute to—and celebrate—the unbreakable bond between fathers and daughters. “He instills in me the importance of going after your dreams, believing in yourself, and never giving up,” says @loriharvey of her dad, @iamsteveharveytv. At the link in bio, famous fathers and daughters reflect on the importance of their relationships.
This morning, Dior took over the iconic Musée Rodin in Paris to debut their SS24 couture collection which featured elegant black pantsuits, sparkly tops, and gorgeous gowns. Here, T&C’s Editor in Chief @stellenevolandes shares a close-up look at the final walk at @dior’s show.

What’s in this year? Pants, please! 2024 marks the return of the black tie pant (see the recent awards season red carpets for proof)—and we owe it all to Giorgio Armani. “My uncle has been experimenting with non-gender-specific design for decades,” says Roberta Armani, the designer’s niece and @giorgioarmani’s head of global entertainment and VIP PR projects. “To him the distinction isn’t important. He is drawn to an aesthetic of elegance, first and foremost. From Jodie Foster wearing a long white Armani jacket and shimmering pants to win Best Actress for The Silence of the Lambs to, most recently, the iconic Sophia Loren stealing the show in pants at the brand’s One Night Only party in Venice last September, the designer’s dedication to black tie pants is taking on a fresh relevance in 2024. At the link in bio, T&C’s @leena_kim reports on why a woman is most in control—when she’s in pants by Giorgio.
If you’re searching for an elevated dirty martini in NYC, we know just the place for you. Here, T&C’s social media editor @anaf_osorno gives us an inside look at how @jeanslafayette perfected their signature drink, the Dirty Jean’s.

Ahead of The Crown’s final chapter (which is out now!) we asked Meg Bellamy and Ed McVey, aka the show’s Will and Kate, to sum up season six in three words—here’s what they said. At the link in bio, @eholmes’s full interview with @ed_mcvey_ and @megkbellamy.
This year, T&C’s executive travel editor @klaraglowczewska embarked on a trip to the state of Western Australia—almost on a dare. “Nobody goes there,” she was told. “It’s too far.” It is also home to some of the country’s most magnificent, off-the-beaten-path wonders—“the real Australia,” as Aussies call it. So, of course, she had to go. Americans traveling to Australia mostly focus on the country’s developed east and southeast: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and their environs; and for the 80 percent of Australians who live along the eastern coast, the flight west to Perth takes almost as long as one to Bali or the South Pacific. But while distances between settled places in WA (as the locals call it) are often great and can require some combination of commercial flights, small chartered planes, four-wheel-drive vehicles, and helicopters, the logistical effort is well worth it—both for the quintessential Australian wilderness you’ll find, and for the spectacular small lodges where you’ll get to stay. At the link in bio, Glowczewska shares her itinerary from her two-week-long journey—from the city of Perth to the legendary wilds of the Kimberley, the gustatory pleasures of the Margaret River wine region, and the aquatic thrills of Ningaloo Reef, abounding with whale sharks and humpback whales.
The most luxurious kitchen upgrades? They’re happening where you’d least expect them. In our latest issue, Mattie Kahn investigates how kids and their toy kitchens became a booming market for renovations. The toy kitchens from Milton & Goose (which start at $729) are beloved by children and parents alike—and now, clients keep coming back to have their original purchases expanded with more and more new products. “Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s such good quality,” Brytann Dunne says. “It’s like, ‘Okay, I want one of every single thing they make.’” At the link in bio, @matkahn writes about the joy of spoiling the kids—and why that might look like splurging on a new toy kitchen.

Having a luscious mane has always been an envy-inducing status symbol, take Marie Antoinette, Kim Kardashian, or Louis Vuitton’s latest Artycapucines handbag for example. As part of an annual collection of wearable art made in collaboration with artists, @louisvuitton partnered with Ewa Juszkiewicz—a Polish painter whose work proves that good hair can be an art form even when it isn’t on your own head. At the link in bio, @isiahmagsino breaks down the anatomy of this classic bag—and the joy of feeling highbrow.

How to Locate Joy. That was the question on our minds as we put together our winter issue. And while sometimes it’s harder to find than others, consider this issue a reminder to never stop looking for it. Do you see it in Ruben Toledo’s one of a kind illustration (hint: find Flaco!). Is it there in our only in T&C ultimate gift guide—we’re calling it Holiday Psych 101—and it’s printed proof that giving good gift can, in fact, change your brain chemistry. Or maybe you will discover it elsewhere in our pages: We’ve got @klaraglowczewska with a Snob’s Guide to Cruises that takes you everywhere from the Mediterranean to the Arctic, and @gabeulla’s investigation into how wine heists became the crime du jour. Nicole LaPorte on that age old question: Is Vanderbilt the new Brown? Jesse Hyde writes about what actually happened at Burning Man (Burningheimer!), @ian_frisch introduces us to the most popular guys from the Hamptons to Hollywood—The Accountants, and @horacio_silva introduces you to Elon’s brother Kimbal: The Other Musk. We hope you find some joy in reading this issue—we sure did while making it. Happy Holidays from T&C.

The right canvas bag telegraphs status, but the real power move: when it also does some good. So what’s the must-have It bag for It girls with an altruistic bent? A FEED tote, of course. This month, the brand (which is the brainchild of Lauren Bush Lauren) launches its holiday collection, which includes this limited edition sack in classic gingham. As with all of its products, portions of proceeds go toward fighting childhood hunger. In the spirit of giving back this season, tap the link in bio to get your status tote.
