The Ayo Streaming Media mission is to create a superlative alternative to the commercial video on-demand experience by creating a new and permanent home for inclusion-centric media. We desire to celebrate the full spectrum of artistic and cultural elements that are the foundation of this medium and to promulgate the craft of heterogeneous filmmaking.
We estimate that 95 percent of the movies made never find their audience or recover their investment due to the traditional Hollywood distribution model.
Therefore a great majority of the movies made by people of color and others have long been under appreciated and overlooked due to the Hollywood model set in place many ago ... So, a majority of great movies have become difficult to discover, expensive to fund, and even harder to market and that’s where Ayo Streaming Media streaming service hopes to make its mark.
