I took a break from painting the deck because it was going to rain again and I went inside to water the plants and color. I can’t wait to show you the deck all finished! Sending you so much love today and always!

Today was the first day I built a fire and it was so lovely ☺️ I don’t know about you but I think there is something so peaceful about a fire! I love the crackling of the wood, the Smokey scent, and the way the light dances and moves. Sending you so much love wherever you are 💗

In a world where everything feels like it’s unraveling—systems faltering, chaos spreading, and panic setting in—I invite you to take a moment of calm. Picture yourself with me stretching by the warmth of a crackling fire, the gentle embrace of a peaceful melody filling the air. A quiet reprieve amidst the storm.

Afternoon yoga practice.
Focusing today on allowing myself to move into new spaces
Into new ideas
Into new thoughts
With out attaching to any of them
Just being the observer of all

**Winter’s Embrace**

In the heart of winter’s silent hold,
When the world is draped in frost and cold,
Inside, a warmth I gently tend,
To plants and creatures, to craft and mend.

The ivy curls by the window’s glow,
Reaching for light through the softened snow.
Ferns stretch their fronds, serene, alive,
Under my care, they bloom and thrive.

The animals stir in their quiet space,
Each finding peace in this slowed-down place.
Their eyes meet mine, a soft exchange,
A bond that winter cannot estrange.

The loom of time slows thread by thread,
As I hone my crafts in the stillness spread.
Needle and yarn, clay and wood,
Turning still hours into something good.

Winter whispers, “This is your hour,
To nurture life, to grow, empower.
Not all the world is meant to race;
There’s strength in the pause, in the quiet embrace.”

So I honor this season, this moment, this rest,
Tending the small things, giving my best.
For in the middle of winter’s reign,
I find warmth, I find care, I find joy in the plain.

Inversions, such as headstands, shoulder stands, or downward dog, offer numerous health benefits by reversing the usual gravitational pull on the body. They improve circulation by allowing blood to flow more freely to the brain and upper body, promoting better oxygenation and nutrient delivery to tissues. These poses also help strengthen the core, arms, and shoulders, while relieving pressure on the spine and improving posture. Additionally, inversions stimulate the lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification, and can reduce stress by promoting relaxation and enhancing focus. Regular practice can help improve balance, flexibility, and overall vitality, contributing to better physical and mental well-being.

Say hello to my new friend! Still unnamed baby mini Donkey 🫏 . I have to move a magnolia tree today to make room for his paddock at the bottom of the property, but I am so excited to welcome this little friend to the cozy cabin. Now all he needs is a name and another friend!

My sweet clementine had her monthly spa day and breakfast inside. She is going through a very late molt, but I just think her body is on this weird cycle because she’s a bird who was bred for meat production. A normal meat bird has a lifespan of only 4 months, so I think that because Clementine is now 9 months, her body is so confused on what to do. She started laying eggs at 6 months and now she’s molting, so she’s kind of a mess. I just try to give her extra protein to regrow her feathers which is usually eggs and grubs. Follow along with to see her story. Sending you all so much love! Today and always!

One of my best friends came to visit and to pick up the chicks that I hatched for her. So we had to throw her a little brunch party while she was here! I love having an excuse to make extra fun breakfast dishes!

What’s your favorite breakfast or brunch dish?
