Making warm soup with my bestie is my favorite way to battle the cold! I like to make fancy ramen for lunch a lot in the winter. I make soft boiled eggs, air fry chicken, and add extra dry ramen toppings! Let me know if you try it 🤍 sending you so much love, wherever you are in the world!
Feelin blue? Here’s a happy blue bird to get you through this Friday! I love you!
I hope you have a beautiful day 💕

Good morning ☀️ so Clementine laid her first egg! I’ve never had a turkey egg before so I am very excited to try it! Then I went to the garden and was looking at what I had thought was marigold all this time… then I realized yesterday it was most definitely not marigold, I finally looked up the plant and it’s mugwort, which is a cool plant but not one that I had planted and it was taking up unnecessary space in the garden. So I removed it and now my peppers and tomatoes have more light again. It’s my very first year with a garden so I’m learning a lot. Sending you all so much love ❤️ wherever you are 🥰
Hello Florida! It is so very warm here, but I love all the plants and animals here. I’m originally from California so I really miss the beach 🏝️ 😋 I decided to do some pool side yoga before my friends woke up, but I’ll be sure to go inside and make breakfast for everyone soon. I can’t help but nurture the people around me. I just always want my friends to know that I’m thinking of them and wanting to make sure they are cared for and loved! 🥰

My productive brain tells me that pausing to admire the trees is a waste of time. That I could be doing something much more productive. I feel like sometimes I have to actually combat my brain to get moments of peace. It’s alarming how focused I am on production and making sure I do “enough”. I want to encourage you this morning to take a breath. Admire something lovely and allow yourself to be unproductive. Give yourself permission to take a breath. What’s the point of living if all you’re doing is rushing from one thing to the next. Enjoy it love! 💕
Back before the snow and before peppermint had a friend. I totally forgot I even filmed this. I also made chicken chili for the first time and it turned out so yummy! 😋 I hope you have a beautiful Saturday! Sending you so much love wherever you are in the world!

Originally I built this little pond for tadpoles but quickly realized that I had more mosquito larvae than anything else, so I added minnows to the pond to take care of that. I also ordered “mosquito bits” because one of my lovely followers suggested I try it. So I’ll add that next! Thank you for all of your help! I really appreciate everyone who shares their experiences with me. 🫶
There’s something deeply satisfying about gathering fresh eggs from my chickens, especially during the winter when many flocks slow down or stop laying altogether. My hardy hens, however, have kept up their steady production, providing a consistent supply of rich, golden-yolked eggs. With these fresh eggs, I recently made a quiche that was as much a celebration of their efforts as it was a delicious meal. The eggs gave the quiche an incredible creaminess and vibrant color, blending perfectly with tangy sun dried tomatoes, savory chicken sausage, creamy feta cheese, and flaky crust. Knowing the eggs came from my own backyard adds an extra layer of appreciation to every bite, and it’s a reminder of the rewards of tending to my little flock year-round.
