Storyline: A respected food critic is harshly reviewing Las Vegas restaurants. A disguised man enters an elevator containing three "chefs." When their personal history and animosity towards each other causes the elevator to break down, their attention turns to the man hiding his identity who clearly knows a thing or two about fine dining.
[SOPHIE] Female, 21-35, open ethnicity. Came to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party at the age of 21 and never left. Sweet, intelligent, demure but with a fiery passionate side. Has some culinary training but not "chef" status but as in everything in Las Vegas, fake it until you make it.
[THE CRITIC] Male, 45-65, open ethnicity, IDEALLY on the shorter side. Intelligent, has no patience for the big, flashy, phoney Las Vegas-style of restaurant food. He is arrogant when it comes to his job and a harsh critic but there is a soft side when people are genuine. Character is Italian.
[TODD] Male, 20-37, open ethnicity. Must be conventionally attractive. Came to Las Vegas for a bachelor party at the age of 21 and never left, former high school athlete that always scored with the cheerleaders and still has a good line. Instantly got a job at one of the many Vegas restaurants because he hooked up with the owner one evening after a few too many drinks. He became her boy-toy for a while until he could afford to invest in his own restaurant. No formal culinary training. As in everything in Las Vegas, big and flashy with not a lot of depth. Similar to the "stereotype" Todd has his pick of the litter to a certain extent, but the women around him are interested in him more because of his "looks" than his mind.
