What an incredible celebration of 4th of July at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt last night! 🇺🇸🎆

New York City celebrated the 4th of July 2024 with its 48th Annual Macy’s Fireworks Show, which dazzled spectators with a display launched from barges on the Hudson River. The show started at 9:25 PM and featured a stunning array of colors and effects.

It was so much fun! Did you have a chance to see fireworks in person?

Each year on this day I go through photos from some of our travels. I truly appreciate we took time to capture these unforgettable moments so I can relive and cherish them. There are still so many places I want to travel to and explore their beauty. Recently I put traveling on hold due to personal matters (happily exploring Spring in New York City for the first time since many years ago) but I feel like I lack some air and can’t wait any longer to book that trip.

First clicks from my recent adventure with adult by desing 😍 Here are the details about our sea travel on Valiant Lady ship:

Itinerary:
San Juan, PR (embarkation) ➡️ Tortola, BVI ➡️ Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe ➡️ Bridgetown, Barbados ➡️ Castries, St. Lucia ➡️ St. John, Antigua ➡️ Sea Day ➡️ San Juan, PR

Cabin:
We had The Sea Terrace cabin with a cool red hammock.

Eat & Drink
Besides daily buffet at the Galley, there are quite a few restaurants offering various cuisines. We went to almost all of them and had a great experience! Whether it was a clam chowder at The Wake, Korean BBQ at Gunbae or molecular menu at Test Kitchen we loved it all! The food was really amazing and creative!

Excursions:
We booked two catamaran excursions in Barbados and St. Lucia. In Antigua we hired a taxi driver and drove around the island.

Entertainment:
Sailors have so many shows to choose from! We did four shows during our sea voyage and had so much fun at every single one! They are entertaining and can be interactive so be prepared to shine on stage (if you are lucky). For those seeking dancing time you will have a lot of opportunities to show off your moves. There is an opening party, Scarlet Night (you don’t want to miss this!!!) and every night you can go clubbing at the Manor.

Richard’s Rooftop:
Having Rockstar Status gave us an opportunity to spend time in more secluded part of the ship. In the evening we were sipping complimentary champaign (I love happy hours) and relaxing in the plunge pool.

SPA: Thermal Suite at The Redemption Spa is a great way to relax and rejuvenate. You can spend time in dry or wet sauna, salt room, mud room or the plunge pools.

Crew:
Crew was exceptional! Always happy and helpful! This creates such a welcoming ambience.

One of the most memorable trips and the main reason we went to Canada recently. 🦌🫎🦬

Parc Omega, 2,200-acre safari is one-of-a-kind experience. We loved the drive through natural habitat of indigenous animals such as elk, deer, moose, bears and wolves. Feeding carrots to some of these animals was a huge thrill. They are so cute!

The best part is that you can stay overnight at Parc Omega’s brand new accommodation called Nature Suites and experience full immersion with fallow deer, white-tailed deer and European mouflon (the latest addition) just outside your window. Cozy, modern and spacious interior plus fire place make the Nature Suites a perfect home away from home in a natural and relaxing setting. You could definitely stay here a few nights and completely unwind.

Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello is a perfect getaway from New York City. We recently drove there for a couple nights stay and found it absolutely amazing. It is a long drive but totally worth it and you can do fun things along the way and spend one night Montreal so you can make to the Chateau early next day.

The Fairmont is located in a charming small town on the river, close to many natural attractions. Its beautiful log castle design and a super cozy lobby with multiple fireplaces make it a super relaxing accomodation.

We also spent time doing fun things around the grounds like snowshoeing and curling, relaxed at the indoor pool and hung out by the fire pit at night making smores.

It was fantastic time and we came back to NYC recharged and rejuvenated with many wonderful memories and hundreds of photos! 🤩
