🚨 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 Britain's "new approach" towards Israel doesn't change UK colonial policy of "commitment to a two-state solution," as Foreign Secretary Miliband cites "shame" as his motivation, blames antisemitism on Israeli government, and cites 'Palestinian' lobbyists as his main source of information for decision making.
Britain announced a sweeping package of sanctions and trade bans against Israeli communities in Israel, that he said would alongside France, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.
Foreign Secretary Miliband said, “Today, I announce that the official view of the British Government is that the occupation is unlawful.”
Miliband accused Israeli Jews of “ethnic cleansing” in a significant break from the policy of the previous Labour government, citing the issuing of tenders for new homes in the proposed E1 community was “the crossing of a long-established red line."
"I do not believe the British people want us supporting the occupation by accepting products from settlements in our shops and supermarkets."
Mr Miliband said he would introduce a “comprehensive sanctions regime”, promising to take action against “specific companies and individuals who provide services such as construction, infrastructure, financing or real estate” for 'settlement' expansion.
